78:39 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا

That Day will be the sure Reality: Therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) return to his Lord

78:40 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابࣰ ا قَرِيبࣰ ا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا

Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust

79:16 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
إِذۡ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى

Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa

79:19 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ

And that I guide thee to thy Lord, so thou shouldst fear Him

فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ

O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent

83:6 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds

83:15 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ

Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled

يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah)

عَيۡنࣰ ا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah

وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ

And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord, and it must needs (do so)

O thou man! Verily thou art ever toiling on towards thy Lord- painfully toiling,- but thou shalt meet Him

بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرࣰ ا

Nay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the 'Ad (people)

فَصَبَّ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّكَ سَوۡطَ عَذَابٍ

Therefore did thy Lord pour on them a scourge of diverse chastisements

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ

For thy Lord is (as a Guardian) on a watch-tower

فَأَمَّا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَكۡرَمَنِ

Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me

89:16 الْفَجْرِ Al-Fajr
وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيٓ أَهَٰنَنِ

But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he (in despair), "My Lord hath humiliated me

وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلۡمَلَكُ صَفࣰّ ا صَفࣰّ ا

And thy Lord cometh, and His angels, rank upon rank

ٱرۡجِعِيٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةࣰ مَّرۡضِيَّةࣰ‏

Come back thou to thy Lord,- well pleased (thyself), and well-pleasing unto Him

يَتِيمࣰ ا ذَا مَقۡرَبَةٍ

To the orphan with claims of relationship

أَوۡ مِسۡكِينࣰ ا ذَا مَتۡرَبَةࣲ‏

Or to the indigent (down) in the dust

91:14 الشَّمْسِ Ash-Shams
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا

Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, high and low)

92:20 الَّيْلِ Al-Lail
إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High

93:3 الضُّحٰي Ad-Dhuhaa
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ

Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased

93:5 الضُّحٰي Ad-Dhuhaa
وَلَسَوۡفَ يُعۡطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرۡضَىٰٓ

And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased

93:11 الضُّحٰي Ad-Dhuhaa
وَأَمَّا بِنِعۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثۡ

But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim

94:8 الشَّرْحِ Ash-Sharh
وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرۡغَب

And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention

ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ

Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created

96:3 الْعَلَقِ Al-Alaq
ٱقۡرَأۡ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡأَكۡرَمُ

Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful

إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ

Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all)

كَلَّا لَا تُطِعۡهُ وَٱسۡجُدۡۤ وَٱقۡتَرِب۩

Nay, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)

97:4 الْقَدْرِ Al-Qadr
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرࣲ‏

Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand

98:8 الْبَيِّنَةِ Al-Bayyina
جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنࣲ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدࣰ اۖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُۥ

Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher

99:5 الزِّلْزَالِ Az-Zalzala
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا

For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration

100:6 العٰدِيٰتِ Al-Aadiyaat
إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودࣱ‏

Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful

100:11 العٰدِيٰتِ Al-Aadiyaat
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّخَبِيرُۢ

That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day

105:1 الْفِيْلِ Al-Fil
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant

106:3 قُرَيْشٍ Quraish
فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِ

Let them adore the Lord of this House

108:2 الْكَوْثَرِ Al-Kawthar
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنۡحَرۡ

Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice

110:3 النَّصْرِ An-Nasr
فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ تَوَّابَۢا

Celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and pray for His Forgiveness: For He is Oft-Returning (in Grace and Mercy)
