Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-05-15
By using QiblaWeb.com you agree to these brief terms. Nothing on the site is legal, fiqh, financial, or medical advice.
1. Nature of the service
QiblaWeb provides informational Islamic tools: prayer-time calculation, Qibla direction, Hijri conversion, sourced duas and adhkar, and a zakat calculator. The calculations use standard astronomical and mathematical formulas; local mosques may differ. Follow your community's timetable when it differs.
2. No accounts, no paid features
The site is open to all without login. There are no paid features. The site is supported by voluntary Stripe donations (activating in a later phase).
3. Donations
Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Every payment is processed by Stripe under its own terms. QiblaWeb does not store your card details or your email.
4. Intellectual property
QiblaWeb name, logo, and original content belong to the operator. Every quoted religious text retains its original source attribution displayed on the same page.
4.1 Quran content and recitations
The Uthmani Hafs Arabic Quran text is from the Tanzil project (tanzil.net). English translations: Abdullah Yusuf Ali and Marmaduke Pickthall (public domain) and Safi-ur-Rahman Al-Mubarakpuri (King Fahd Quran Printing Complex).
Audio recitations are not hosted by QiblaWeb. When you play any ayah, your browser connects directly to EveryAyah.com — the Tanzil project's non-profit Quran audio archive. Available reciters: Alafasy, Husary, Abdul Basit (Murattal), Sudais, Minshawi (Murattal), Shuraim, Ghamadi. Privacy practice details in the privacy policy.
5. Limitation of liability
QiblaWeb provides information "as is" within the calculation limits documented on the methodology page. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site.
