Qibla Direction
Find Qibla direction in your browser. No app. No tracking.
Two permissions to find Qibla
The browser will queue two prompts: (1) your location to compute the bearing in your browser — your coordinates never reach our server, and (2) device orientation to rotate the compass needle — readings are never stored. On iPhone, accept both prompts as they appear.
We need your location
We use your location only to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. By default your exact location stays in your browser and is not stored by QiblaWeb.
We need phone orientation
We use your phone orientation only to rotate the Qibla arrow. We do not store or send compass readings.
Advanced & troubleshooting
Search for a city (no GPS)
If you prefer not to use GPS, pick your city. The bearing is computed from the city centre.
Request permissions manually
The primary button asks both permissions at once. Use these only if you previously denied one and want to retry just that one.
Why does my compass differ from the bearing?
Move away from metal/electronics and rotate the phone slowly to calibrate.
Sensor accuracy varies by phone. Use the map fallback if your compass is unstable.
Manual coordinates (for testers)
Most visitors should use the primary button above. If you know your latitude/longitude exactly, you can enter them here.
World view
If your phone compass does not work, the map shows the shortest line from your location to the Kaaba. Your origin pin appears automatically after you tap "Find my Qibla".
