كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتࣱ صُفۡرࣱ‏

As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)

And made the day as a means of subsistence

(From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between, (Allah) Most Gracious: None shall have power to argue with Him

79:17 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds

79:27 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
ءَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُۚ بَنَىٰهَا

What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it

79:31 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
أَخۡرَجَ مِنۡهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا

He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture

79:40 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ

And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires

كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوۡ ضُحَىٰهَا

The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn

Of him wast thou unmindful

By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction

Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others

81:19 التَّكْوِيْرِ At-Takwir
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولࣲ كَرِيمࣲ‏

Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger

82:15 الْاِنْفِطَارِ Al-Infitaar
يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ

Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment

وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ

And they will not be able to keep away therefrom

But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due

أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ

Do they not think that they will be called to account

كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ

Verily, from (the Light of) their Lord, that Day, will they be veiled

83:16 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ

Then he who is given his Record in his right hand

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا

Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing

إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ

Truly, did he think that he would not have to return (to Us)

وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise

85:11 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣱ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ

For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires)

85:13 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ

It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life)

86:8 الطَّارِقِ At-Taariq
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجۡعِهِۦ لَقَادِرࣱ‏

Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلࣱ فَصۡلࣱ‏

Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil)

As for them, they are but plotting a scheme

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ

Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden

90:10 الْبَلَدِ Al-Balad
وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ

And shown him the two highways

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا

By the Day as it shows up (the Sun's) glory

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا

By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ

By the Day as it appears in glory

وَمَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ

Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit)

93:10 الضُّحٰي Ad-Dhuhaa
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنۡهَرۡ

Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard)

ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ

Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ

Seest thou one who forbids

97:1 الْقَدْرِ Al-Qadr
ٱلرَّحِيمِإِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ

We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power

98:8 الْبَيِّنَةِ Al-Bayyina
جَزَآؤُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ جَنَّٰتُ عَدۡنࣲ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدࣰ اۖ رَّضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُواْ عَنۡهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنۡ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُۥ

Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher

100:7 العٰدِيٰتِ Al-Aadiyaat
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدࣱ‏

And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds)

100:8 العٰدِيٰتِ Al-Aadiyaat
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

And violent is he in his love of wealth

101:6 الْقَارِعَةِ Al-Qaari'a
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy

101:8 الْقَارِعَةِ Al-Qaari'a
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light

102:7 التَّكَاثُرِ At-Takaathur
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight

104:8 الْهُمَزَةِ Al-Humaza
إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةࣱ‏

It shall be made into a vault over them

106:4 قُرَيْشٍ Quraish
ٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعࣲ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ

Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger)

110:3 النَّصْرِ An-Nasr
فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ تَوَّابَۢا

Celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and pray for His Forgiveness: For He is Oft-Returning (in Grace and Mercy)

111:2 المَسَدِ Al-Masad
مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ

No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains
