19:39 مَرْيَمَ Maryam
وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَسۡرَةِ إِذۡ قُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَهُمۡ فِي غَفۡلَةࣲ وَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

But warn them of the Day of Distress, when the matter will be determined: for (behold,) they are negligent and they do not believe

فَٱنطَلَقُواْ وَهُمۡ يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمۡ أَن تُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُمۡ نَفَقَٰتُهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا يَأۡتُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَهُمۡ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمۡ كَٰرِهُونَ

The only reasons why their contributions are not accepted are: that they reject Allah and His Messenger; that they come to prayer without earnestness; and that they offer contributions unwillingly

85:7 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودࣱ‏

And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers

21:100 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
لَهُمۡ فِيهَا زَفِيرࣱ وَهُمۡ فِيهَا لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else)

41:7 فُصِّلَتۡ Fussilat
ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ

Those who practise not regular Charity, and who even deny the Hereafter

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ قَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not

21:27 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
لَا يَسۡبِقُونَهُۥ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ وَهُم بِأَمۡرِهِۦ يَعۡمَلُونَ

They speak not before He speaks, and they act (in all things) by His Command

23:104 الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ Al-Muminoon
تَلۡفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَهُمۡ فِيهَا كَٰلِحُونَ

The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced

26:202 الشُّعَرَآءِ Ash-Shu'araa
فَيَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةࣰ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not

36:21 يٰسٓ Yaseen
ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَن لَّا يَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ أَجۡرࣰ ا وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ

Obey those who ask no reward of you (for themselves), and who have themselves received Guidance

37:150 الصَّافَّاتِ As-Saaffaat
أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثࣰ ا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ

Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)

16:20 النَّحْلِ An-Nahl
وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَخۡلُقُونَ شَيۡـࣰٔ ا وَهُمۡ يُخۡلَقُونَ

Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created

21:1 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
ٱقۡتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ فِي غَفۡلَةࣲ مُّعۡرِضُونَ

Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away

23:61 الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ Al-Muminoon
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ وَهُمۡ لَهَا سَٰبِقُونَ

It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them

27:50 النَّمْلِ An-Naml
وَمَكَرُواْ مَكۡرࣰ ا وَمَكَرۡنَا مَكۡرࣰ ا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

They plotted and planned, but We too planned, even while they perceived it not

43:75 الزُّخْرُفِ Az-Zukhruf
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَهُمۡ فِيهِ مُبۡلِسُونَ

Nowise will the (Punishment) be lightened for them, and in despair will they be there overwhelmed

12:58 يُوسُفَ Yusuf
وَجَآءَ إِخۡوَةُ يُوسُفَ فَدَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَعَرَفَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُۥ مُنكِرُونَ

Then came Joseph's brethren: they entered his presence, and he knew them, but they knew him not

30:3 الرُّوْمِ Ar-Room
فِيٓ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَيَغۡلِبُونَ

In a land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious

7:191 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
أَيُشۡرِكُونَ مَا لَا يَخۡلُقُ شَيۡـࣰٔ ا وَهُمۡ يُخۡلَقُونَ

Do they indeed ascribe to Him as partners things that can create nothing, but are themselves created

31:4 لُقْمَانَ Luqman
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ

Those who establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity, and have (in their hearts) the assurance of the Hereafter

21:49 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّاعَةِ مُشۡفِقُونَ

Those who fear their Lord in their most secret thoughts, and who hold the Hour (of Judgment) in awe

21:102 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَاۖ وَهُمۡ فِي مَا ٱشۡتَهَتۡ أَنفُسُهُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ

Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell

27:3 النَّمْلِ An-Naml
ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ يُوقِنُونَ

Those who establish regular prayers and give in regular charity, and also have (full) assurance of the hereafter

68:19 الْقَلَمِ Al-Qalam
فَطَافَ عَلَيۡهَا طَآئِفࣱ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمۡ نَآئِمُونَ

Then there came on the (garden) a visitation from thy Lord, (which swept away) all around, while they were asleep

21:96 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُتِحَتۡ يَأۡجُوجُ وَمَأۡجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبࣲ يَنسِلُونَ

Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill

7:98 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
أَوَأَمِنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُم بَأۡسُنَا ضُحࣰ ى وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ

Or else did they feel secure against its coming in broad daylight while they played about (care-free)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 9
36:49 يٰسٓ Yaseen
مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةࣰ وَٰحِدَةࣰ تَأۡخُذُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَخِصِّمُونَ

They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves

36:75 يٰسٓ Yaseen
لَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ نَصۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُندࣱ مُّحۡضَرُونَ

They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned)

9:76 التَّوْبَةِ At-Tawba
فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦ بَخِلُواْ بِهِۦ وَتَوَلَّواْ وَّهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ

But when He did bestow of His bounty, they became covetous, and turned back (from their covenant), averse (from its fulfilment)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 10
27:5 النَّمْلِ An-Naml
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَهُمۡ سُوٓءُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمُ ٱلۡأَخۡسَرُونَ

Such are they for whom a grievous Penalty is (waiting); and in the Hereafter theirs will be the greatest loss

27:89 النَّمْلِ An-Naml
مَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيۡرࣱ مِّنۡهَا وَهُم مِّن فَزَعࣲ يَوۡمَئِذٍ ءَامِنُونَ

If any do good, good will (accrue) to them therefrom; and they will be secure from terror that Day

29:2 الْعَنْكَبُوْتِ Al-Ankaboot
أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتۡرَكُوٓاْ أَن يَقُولُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمۡ لَا يُفۡتَنُونَ

Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested

7:97 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
أَفَأَمِنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُم بَأۡسُنَا بَيَٰتࣰ ا وَهُمۡ نَآئِمُونَ

Did the people of the towns feel secure against the coming of Our wrath by night while they were asleep

12:105 يُوسُفَ Yusuf
وَكَأَيِّن مِّنۡ ءَايَةࣲ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهَا وَهُمۡ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضُونَ

And how many Signs in the heavens and the earth do they pass by? Yet they turn (their faces) away from them

18:104 الْكَهْفِ Al-Kahf
ٱلَّذِينَ ضَلَّ سَعۡيُهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ يَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ يُحۡسِنُونَ صُنۡعًا

Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life, while they thought that they were acquiring good by their works

21:2 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
مَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن ذِكۡرࣲ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحۡدَثٍ إِلَّا ٱسۡتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ

Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they listen to it as in jest

30:7 الرُّوْمِ Ar-Room
يَعۡلَمُونَ ظَٰهِرࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ غَٰفِلُونَ

They know but the outer (things) in the life of this world: but of the End of things they are heedless

Open ayah In surah context Juz 21
43:66 الزُّخْرُفِ Az-Zukhruf
هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةࣰ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not

7:198 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
وَإِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَا يَسۡمَعُواْۖ وَتَرَىٰهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيۡكَ وَهُمۡ لَا يُبۡصِرُونَ

If thou callest them to guidance, they hear not. Thou wilt see them looking at thee, but they see not

51:44 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord: So the stunning noise (of an earthquake) seized them, even while they were looking on

11:19 هُوْدٍ Hud
ٱلَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجࣰ ا وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ

Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the Hereafter

16:22 النَّحْلِ An-Nahl
إِلَٰهُكُمۡ إِلَٰهࣱ وَٰحِدࣱۚ فَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مُّنكِرَةࣱ وَهُم مُّسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

Your Allah is one Allah: as to those who believe not in the Hereafter, their hearts refuse to know, and they are arrogant

21:32 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقۡفࣰ ا مَّحۡفُوظࣰ اۖ وَهُمۡ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِهَا مُعۡرِضُونَ

And We have made the heavens as a canopy well guarded: yet do they turn away from the Signs which these things (point to)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
47:34 مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارࣱ فَلَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ

Those who reject Allah, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, then die rejecting Allah,- Allah will not forgive them

2:161 البَقَرَةِ Al-Baqara
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ لَعۡنَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِينَ

Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind
