And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition

Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good

57:29 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
لِّئَلَّا يَعۡلَمَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ أَلَّا يَقۡدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَيۡءࣲ مِّن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَنَّ ٱلۡفَضۡلَ بِيَدِ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

That the People of the Book may know that they have no power whatever over the Grace of Allah, that (His) Grace is (entirely) in His Hand, to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. For Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding

59:2 الْحَشْرِ Al-Hashr
هُوَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمۡ لِأَوَّلِ ٱلۡحَشۡرِۚ مَا ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن يَخۡرُجُواْۖ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُم مَّانِعَتُهُمۡ حُصُونُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَمۡ يَحۡتَسِبُواْۖ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعۡبَۚ يُخۡرِبُونَ بُيُوتَهُم بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَأَيۡدِي ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ فَٱعۡتَبِرُواْ يَٰٓأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ

It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)

59:7 الْحَشْرِ Al-Hashr
مَّآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱبۡنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ كَيۡ لَا يَكُونَ دُولَةَۢ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡأَغۡنِيَآءِ مِنكُمۡۚ وَمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَىٰكُمۡ عَنۡهُ فَٱنتَهُواْۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to Allah,- to His Messenger and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment

59:11 الْحَشْرِ Al-Hashr
۞أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نَافَقُواْ يَقُولُونَ لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَئِنۡ أُخۡرِجۡتُمۡ لَنَخۡرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمۡ وَلَا نُطِيعُ فِيكُمۡ أَحَدًا أَبَدࣰ ا وَإِن قُوتِلۡتُمۡ لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمۡ وَٱللَّهُ يَشۡهَدُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

Hast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But Allah is witness that they are indeed liars

61:10 الصَّفِّ As-Saff
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ تِجَٰرَةࣲ تُنجِيكُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمࣲ‏

O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty

66:6 التَّحْرِيْمِ At-Tahrim
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيكُمۡ نَارࣰ ا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُ عَلَيۡهَا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظࣱ شِدَادࣱ لَّا يَعۡصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ

O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded

67:3 الْمُلْكِ Al-Mulk
ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتࣲ طِبَاقࣰ اۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مِن تَفَٰوُتࣲۖ فَٱرۡجِعِ ٱلۡبَصَرَ هَلۡ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورࣲ‏

He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw

67:28 الْمُلْكِ Al-Mulk
قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَهۡلَكَنِيَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِيَ أَوۡ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمࣲ‏

Say: "See ye?- If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us,- yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty

69:5 الْحَآقَّةِ Al-Haaqqa
فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ

But the Thamud,- they were destroyed by a terrible Storm of thunder and lightning

69:6 الْحَآقَّةِ Al-Haaqqa
وَأَمَّا عَادࣱ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحࣲ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةࣲ‏

And the 'Ad, they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent

69:8 الْحَآقَّةِ Al-Haaqqa
فَهَلۡ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةࣲ‏

Then seest thou any of them left surviving

هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلۡطَٰنِيَهۡ

My power has perished from me

يَوۡمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ

The Day that the sky will be like molten brass

70:19 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
۞إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا

Truly man was created very impatient

73:11 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
وَذَرۡنِي وَٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ أُوْلِي ٱلنَّعۡمَةِ وَمَهِّلۡهُمۡ قَلِيلًا

And leave Me (alone to deal with) those in possession of the good things of life, who (yet) deny the Truth; and bear with them for a little while

74:56 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
وَمَا يَذۡكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ أَهۡلُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَأَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ

But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness

75:33 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ

Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit

76:1 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
هَلۡ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ حِينࣱ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهۡرِ لَمۡ يَكُن شَيۡـࣰٔ ا مَّذۡكُورًا

Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned

77:16 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)

79:15 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ

Has the story of Moses reached thee

79:18 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ

And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)

83:31 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ

And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting

83:36 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did

84:9 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورࣰ ا

And he will turn to his people, rejoicing

84:13 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا

Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing

85:17 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡجُنُودِ

Has the story reached thee, of the forces

86:17 الطَّارِقِ At-Taariq
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدَۢا

Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile)

88:1 الْغَاشِيَةِ Al-Ghaashiya
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ

Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)

89:5 الْفَجْرِ Al-Fajr
هَلۡ فِي ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمࣱ لِّذِي حِجۡرٍ

Is there (not) in these an adjuration (or evidence) for those who understand

90:6 الْبَلَدِ Al-Balad
يَقُولُ أَهۡلَكۡتُ مَالࣰ ا لُّبَدًا

He may say (boastfully); Wealth have I squandered in abundance

98:1 الْبَيِّنَةِ Al-Bayyina
لَمۡ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ

Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence

98:6 الْبَيِّنَةِ Al-Bayyina
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ شَرُّ ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ

Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures
