30:9 الرُّوْمِ Ar-Room
أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰ وَأَثَارُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوهَآ أَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ

Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? They were superior to them in strength: they tilled the soil and populated it in greater numbers than these have done: there came to them their messengers with Clear (Signs). (Which they rejected, to their own destruction): It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged their own souls

30:42 الرُّوْمِ Ar-Room
قُلۡ سِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّشۡرِكِينَ

Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those before (you): Most of them worshipped others besides Allah

30:48 الرُّوْمِ Ar-Room
ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي يُرۡسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابࣰ ا فَيَبۡسُطُهُۥ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجۡعَلُهُۥ كِسَفࣰ ا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَٰلِهِۦۖ فَإِذَآ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ

It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice

30:50 الرُّوْمِ Ar-Room
فَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِ رَحۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ كَيۡفَ يُحۡيِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَآۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحۡيِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءࣲ قَدِيرࣱ‏

Then contemplate (O man!) the memorials of Allah's Mercy!- how He gives life to the earth after its death: verily the same will give life to the men who are dead: for He has power over all things

34:45 سَبَاٍ Saba
وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَمَا بَلَغُواْ مِعۡشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَذَّبُواْ رُسُلِيۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)

35:26 فَاطِرٍ Faatir
ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)

35:44 فَاطِرٍ Faatir
أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰۚ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ مِن شَيۡءࣲ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمࣰ ا قَدِيرࣰ ا

Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them,- though they were superior to them in strength? Nor is Allah to be frustrated by anything whatever in the heavens or on earth: for He is All-Knowing. All-Powerful

37:73 الصَّافَّاتِ As-Saaffaat
فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ

Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not)

مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

What is the matter with you? How judge ye

40:5 الْمُؤْمِنِ Ghafir
كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحࣲ وَٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ وَهَمَّتۡ كُلُّ أُمَّةِۭ بِرَسُولِهِمۡ لِيَأۡخُذُوهُۖ وَجَٰدَلُواْ بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ لِيُدۡحِضُواْ بِهِ ٱلۡحَقَّ فَأَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

But (there were people) before them, who denied (the Signs),- the People of Noah, and the Confederates (of Evil) after them; and every People plotted against their prophet, to seize him, and disputed by means of vanities, therewith to condemn the Truth; but it was I that seized them! and how (terrible) was My Requital

40:21 الْمُؤْمِنِ Ghafir
۞أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰ وَءَاثَارࣰ ا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقࣲ‏

Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were even superior to them in strength, and in the traces (they have left) in the land: but Allah did call them to account for their sins, and none had they to defend them against Allah

40:82 الْمُؤْمِنِ Ghafir
أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوٓاْ أَكۡثَرَ مِنۡهُمۡ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةࣰ وَءَاثَارࣰ ا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were more numerous than these and superior in strength and in the traces (they have left) in the land: Yet all that they accomplished was of no profit to them

43:25 الزُّخْرُفِ Az-Zukhruf
فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡۖ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

So We exacted retribution from them: now see what was the end of those who rejected (Truth)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 25
47:10 مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad
۞أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡثَٰلُهَا

Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah

Open ayah In surah context Juz 26
47:27 مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad
فَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ

But how (will it be) when the angels take their souls at death, and smite their faces and their backs

50:6 قٓ Qaaf
أَفَلَمۡ يَنظُرُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَوۡقَهُمۡ كَيۡفَ بَنَيۡنَٰهَا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجࣲ‏

Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it

54:16 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

But how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning

54:18 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
كَذَّبَتۡ عَادࣱ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

The 'Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was My Penalty and My Warning

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

Yea, how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning

فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ

Ah! how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning

67:17 الْمُلْكِ Al-Mulk
أَمۡ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبࣰ اۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ كَيۡفَ نَذِيرِ

Or do ye feel secure that He Who is in Heaven will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones), so that ye shall know how (terrible) was My warning

67:18 الْمُلْكِ Al-Mulk
وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)

68:36 الْقَلَمِ Al-Qalam
مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ

What is the matter with you? How judge ye

أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡاْ كَيۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتࣲ طِبَاقࣰ ا

See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another

73:17 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
فَكَيۡفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرۡتُمۡ يَوۡمࣰ ا يَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡوِلۡدَٰنَ شِيبًا

Then how shall ye, if ye deny (Allah), guard yourselves against a Day that will make children hoary-headed

74:19 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
فَقُتِلَ كَيۡفَ قَدَّرَ

And woe to him! How he plotted

Yea, Woe to him; How he plotted

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ

Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made

88:18 الْغَاشِيَةِ Al-Ghaashiya
وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ

And at the Sky, how it is raised high

88:19 الْغَاشِيَةِ Al-Ghaashiya
وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ

And at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm

وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ

And at the Earth, how it is spread out

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the 'Ad (people)

105:1 الْفِيْلِ Al-Fil
أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ

Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant
