46:35 الْاَحْقَافِ Al-Ahqaf
فَٱصۡبِرۡ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡعَزۡمِ مِنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِل لَّهُمۡۚ كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَ مَا يُوعَدُونَ لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا سَاعَةࣰ مِّن نَّهَارِۭۚ بَلَٰغࣱۚ فَهَلۡ يُهۡلَكُ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of inflexible purpose; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the Day that they see the (Punishment) promised them, (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Thine but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress

47:18 مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad
فَهَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةࣰۖ فَقَدۡ جَآءَ أَشۡرَاطُهَاۚ فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمۡ إِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ذِكۡرَىٰهُمۡ

Do they then only wait for the Hour,- that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition

Open ayah In surah context Juz 26
48:13 الْفَتْحِ Al-Fath
وَمَن لَّمۡ يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ فَإِنَّآ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ سَعِيرࣰ ا

And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire

51:47 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيۡنَٰهَا بِأَيۡيْدࣲ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ

With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace

53:32 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةࣱ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ

Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil

53:39 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

That man can have nothing but what he strives for

53:40 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ

That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight

ٱقۡتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلۡقَمَرُ

The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder

فَقَالُوٓاْ أَبَشَرࣰ ا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدࣰ ا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذࣰ ا لَّفِي ضَلَٰلࣲ وَسُعُرٍ

For they said: "What! a man! a Solitary one from among ourselves! shall we follow such a one? Truly should we then be straying in mind, and mad

54:26 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
سَيَعۡلَمُونَ غَدࣰ ا مَّنِ ٱلۡكَذَّابُ ٱلۡأَشِرُ

Ah! they will know on the morrow, which is the liar, the insolent one

54:46 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوۡعِدُهُمۡ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدۡهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ

Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلࣲ وَسُعُرࣲ‏

Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad

57:12 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
يَوۡمَ تَرَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ يَسۡعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۖ بُشۡرَىٰكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ جَنَّٰتࣱ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

One Day shalt thou see the believing men and the believing women- how their Light runs forward before them and by their right hands: (their greeting will be): "Good News for you this Day! Gardens beneath which flow rivers! to dwell therein for aye! This is indeed the highest Achievement

62:9 الْجُمُعَةِ Al-Jumu'a
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوۡمِ ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ وَذَرُواْ ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرࣱ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew

65:7 الطَّلَاقِ At-Talaaq
لِيُنفِقۡ ذُو سَعَةࣲ مِّن سَعَتِهِۦۖ وَمَن قُدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقُهُۥ فَلۡيُنفِقۡ مِمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُۚ لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا مَآ ءَاتَىٰهَاۚ سَيَجۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بَعۡدَ عُسۡرࣲ يُسۡرࣰ ا

Let the man of means spend according to his means: and the man whose resources are restricted, let him spend according to what Allah has given him. Allah puts no burden on any person beyond what He has given him. After a difficulty, Allah will soon grant relief

66:8 التَّحْرِيْمِ At-Tahrim
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ تُوبُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوۡبَةࣰ نَّصُوحًا عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمۡ وَيُدۡخِلَكُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣲ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ يَوۡمَ لَا يُخۡزِي ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّبِيَّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُۥۖ نُورُهُمۡ يَسۡعَىٰ بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَبِأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَتۡمِمۡ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَآۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءࣲ قَدِيرࣱ‏

O ye who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow,- the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, "Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things

Open ayah In surah context Juz 28
67:5 الْمُلْكِ Al-Mulk
وَلَقَدۡ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهَا رُجُومࣰ ا لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِۖ وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا لَهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire

Open ayah In surah context Juz 29
67:10 الْمُلْكِ Al-Mulk
وَقَالُواْ لَوۡ كُنَّا نَسۡمَعُ أَوۡ نَعۡقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِيٓ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire

Open ayah In surah context Juz 29
67:11 الْمُلْكِ Al-Mulk
فَٱعۡتَرَفُواْ بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسُحۡقࣰ ا لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire

71:23 نُوْحٍ Nooh
وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدࣰّ ا وَلَا سُوَاعࣰ ا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرࣰ ا

And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr

72:24 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوۡاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ أَضۡعَفُ نَاصِرࣰ ا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدࣰ ا

At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers

74:30 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
عَلَيۡهَا تِسۡعَةَ عَشَرَ

Over it are Nineteen

Open ayah In surah context Juz 29
76:4 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّآ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَاْ وَأَغۡلَٰلࣰ ا وَسَعِيرًا

For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire

76:22 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ جَزَآءࣰ وَكَانَ سَعۡيُكُم مَّشۡكُورًا

Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised

78:4 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ

Verily, they shall soon (come to) know

78:5 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ

Verily, verily they shall soon (come to) know

79:22 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ

Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah)

يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ

The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for

79:42 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا

They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time

80:8 عَبَسَ Abasa
وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ

But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly

81:12 التَّكْوِيْرِ At-Takwir
وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ

When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat

81:17 التَّكْوِيْرِ At-Takwir
وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ

And the Night as it dissipates

84:12 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
وَيَصۡلَىٰ سَعِيرًا

And he will enter a Blazing Fire

88:9 الْغَاشِيَةِ Al-Ghaashiya
لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةࣱ‏

Pleased with their striving

92:4 الَّيْلِ Al-Lail
إِنَّ سَعۡيَكُمۡ لَشَتَّىٰ

Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse
