69:46 الْحَآقَّةِ Al-Haaqqa
ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ ٱلۡوَتِينَ

And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart

وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارࣰ ا

And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance

71:10 نُوْحٍ Nooh
فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارࣰ ا

Saying, 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving

لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلࣰ ا فِجَاجࣰ ا

That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads

وَأَنَّا لَمَسۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدۡنَٰهَا مُلِئَتۡ حَرَسࣰ ا شَدِيدࣰ ا وَشُهُبࣰ ا

And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires

72:22 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
قُلۡ إِنِّي لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدࣱ وَلَنۡ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلۡتَحَدًا

Say: "No one can deliver me from Allah (If I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him

72:23 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
إِلَّا بَلَٰغࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ وَمَن يَعۡصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا

Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever

72:28 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
لِّيَعۡلَمَ أَن قَدۡ أَبۡلَغُواْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيۡهِمۡ وَأَحۡصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيۡءٍ عَدَدَۢا

That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing

74:12 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
وَجَعَلۡتُ لَهُۥ مَالࣰ ا مَّمۡدُودࣰ ا

To whom I granted resources in abundance

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِأٓيَٰتِنَا عَنِيدࣰ ا

By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory

74:49 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
فَمَا لَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلتَّذۡكِرَةِ مُعۡرِضِينَ

Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition

74:56 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
وَمَا يَذۡكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ أَهۡلُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَأَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ

But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness

لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهِۦٓ

Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith

75:26 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِيَ

Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit)

وَٱلۡتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ

And one leg will be joined with another

وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيۡهِمۡ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتۡ قُطُوفُهَا تَذۡلِيلࣰ ا

And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility

77:1 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفࣰ ا

By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit)

لِأَيِّ يَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ

For what Day are these (portents) deferred

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتࣱ صُفۡرࣱ‏

As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)

إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابࣰ ا قَرِيبࣰ ا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا

Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust

81:4 التَّكْوِيْرِ At-Takwir
وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ

When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended

81:8 التَّكْوِيْرِ At-Takwir
وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ

When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned

بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبࣲ قُتِلَتۡ

For what crime she was killed

خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكࣱۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ

The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations

وَأَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡ

And casts forth what is within it and becomes (clean) empty

لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقࣲ‏

Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage

يَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ ٱلصُّلۡبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ

Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs

وَٱلشَّفۡعِ وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ

By the even and odd (contrasted)

ٱلَّتِي لَمۡ يُخۡلَقۡ مِثۡلُهَا فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ

The like of which were not produced in (all) the land

وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ ذِي ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ

And with Pharaoh, lord of stakes

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا تُكۡرِمُونَ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ

Nay, nay! but ye honour not the orphans

وَتَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكۡلࣰ ا لَّمࣰّ ا

And ye devour inheritance - all with greed

يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِي

He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life

92:17 الَّيْلِ Al-Lail
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى

But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it

فَأَمَّا ٱلۡيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقۡهَرۡ

Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness

وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ

By the Fig and the Olive

Or enjoins Righteousness

إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion

101:6 الْقَارِعَةِ Al-Qaari'a
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy

أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things)

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ

Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in)

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ

The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts

107:2 الْمَاعُوْنِ Al-Maa'un
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ

Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness)

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ

Who are neglectful of their prayers
