76:2 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ أَمۡشَاجࣲ نَّبۡتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرًا

Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight

76:6 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
عَيۡنࣰ ا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفۡجِيرࣰ ا

A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance

76:9 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّمَا نُطۡعِمُكُمۡ لِوَجۡهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمۡ جَزَآءࣰ وَلَا شُكُورًا

(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks

76:11 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةࣰ وَسُرُورࣰ ا

But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy

76:14 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيۡهِمۡ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتۡ قُطُوفُهَا تَذۡلِيلࣰ ا

And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility

76:15 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
وَيُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِـَٔانِيَةࣲ مِّن فِضَّةࣲ وَأَكۡوَابࣲ كَانَتۡ قَوَارِيرَا۠

And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal

76:19 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنࣱ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ حَسِبۡتَهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤࣰ ا مَّنثُورࣰ ا

And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls

76:21 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
عَٰلِيَهُمۡ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضۡرࣱ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقࣱۖ وَحُلُّوٓاْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةࣲ وَسَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ شَرَابࣰ ا طَهُورًا

Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy

76:26 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَٱسۡجُدۡ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحۡهُ لَيۡلࣰ ا طَوِيلًا

And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through

76:28 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
نَّحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَشَدَدۡنَآ أَسۡرَهُمۡۖ وَإِذَا شِئۡنَا بَدَّلۡنَآ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ تَبۡدِيلًا

It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change

76:30 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمࣰ ا

But ye will not, except as Allah wills; for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom

76:31 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
يُدۡخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ وَٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمَۢا

He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty

77:31 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
لَّا ظَلِيلࣲ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ

(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze

وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ

Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ

And when it is said to them, "Prostrate yourselves!" they do not so

78:38 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفࣰّ اۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابࣰ ا

The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by (Allah) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right

79:25 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life

79:29 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
وَأَغۡطَشَ لَيۡلَهَا وَأَخۡرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا

Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light)

79:40 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ

And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires

وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ

But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)

Of him wast thou unmindful

وَوُجُوهࣱ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةࣱ‏

And other faces that Day will be dust-stained

81:29 التَّكْوِيْرِ At-Takwir
وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds

82:19 الْاِنْفِطَارِ Al-Infitaar
يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسࣱ لِّنَفۡسࣲ شَيۡـࣰٔ اۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلَّهِ

(It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah

83:3 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ

But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due

إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients

83:31 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ

And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting

83:33 المُطَفِّفِيْنَ Al-Mutaffifin
وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ

But they had not been sent as keepers over them

84:9 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورࣰ ا

And he will turn to his people, rejoicing

84:13 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِيٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا

Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing

84:20 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

What then is the matter with them, that they believe not

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا يَسۡجُدُونَۤ۩

And when the Qur'an is read to them, they fall not prostrate

84:23 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ

But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts)

84:25 الاِنْشِقَاقِ Al-Inshiqaaq
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونِۭ

Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail

85:6 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودࣱ‏

Behold! they sat over against the (fire)

85:8 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise

85:9 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءࣲ شَهِيدٌ

Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things

85:10 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ

Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire

85:11 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣱ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ

For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires)

85:20 الْبُرُوْجِ Al-Burooj
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطُۢ

But Allah doth encompass them from behind

86:4 الطَّارِقِ At-Taariq
إِن كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظࣱ‏

There is no soul but has a protector over it

86:10 الطَّارِقِ At-Taariq
فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةࣲ وَلَا نَاصِرࣲ‏

(Man) will have no power, and no helper

86:14 الطَّارِقِ At-Taariq
وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلۡهَزۡلِ

It is not a thing for amusement

86:17 الطَّارِقِ At-Taariq
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدَۢا

Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile)

87:5 الْاَعْلٰي Al-A'laa
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ

And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble

87:7 الْاَعْلٰي Al-A'laa
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ

Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden

88:6 الْغَاشِيَةِ Al-Ghaashiya
لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعࣲ‏

No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari

88:22 الْغَاشِيَةِ Al-Ghaashiya
لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ

Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs

فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ

Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment
