69:32 الْحَآقَّةِ Al-Haaqqa
ثُمَّ فِي سِلۡسِلَةࣲ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُونَ ذِرَاعࣰ ا فَٱسۡلُكُوهُ

Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits

تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمࣲ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةࣲ‏

The angels and the spirit ascend unto him in a Day the measure whereof is (as) fifty thousand years

70:30 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ

Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed

70:31 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَآءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ

But those who trespass beyond this are transgressors

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ فِي جَنَّٰتࣲ مُّكۡرَمُونَ

Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens (of Bliss)

فَمَالِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ قِبَلَكَ مُهۡطِعِينَ

Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee

70:44 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةࣱۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ

Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised

71:2 نُوْحٍ Nooh
قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ نَذِيرࣱ مُّبِينٌ

He said: "O my People! I am to you a Warner, clear and open

71:4 نُوْحٍ Nooh
يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated Term: for when the Term given by Allah is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if ye only knew

71:11 نُوْحٍ Nooh
يُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّدۡرَارࣰ ا

He will send rain to you in abundance

71:12 نُوْحٍ Nooh
وَيُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَٰلࣲ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣲ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡهَٰرࣰ ا

Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water)

71:13 نُوْحٍ Nooh
مَّا لَكُمۡ لَا تَرۡجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارࣰ ا

What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in Allah

71:19 نُوْحٍ Nooh
وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطࣰ ا

And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out)

لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلࣰ ا فِجَاجࣰ ا

That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads

71:26 نُوْحٍ Nooh
وَقَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا

And Noah, said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the Unbelievers, a single one on earth

72:11 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَآئِقَ قِدَدࣰ ا

There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths

72:14 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلۡمُسۡلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا ٱلۡقَٰسِطُونَۖ فَمَنۡ أَسۡلَمَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ تَحَرَّوۡاْ رَشَدࣰ ا

Amongst us are some that submit their wills (to Allah), and some that swerve from justice. Now those who submit their wills - they have sought out (the path) of right conduct

72:17 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
لِّنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ فِيهِۚ وَمَن يُعۡرِضۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسۡلُكۡهُ عَذَابࣰ ا صَعَدࣰ ا

That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty

72:21 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
قُلۡ إِنِّي لَآ أَمۡلِكُ لَكُمۡ ضَرࣰّ ا وَلَا رَشَدࣰ ا

Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct

72:27 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرۡتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولࣲ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسۡلُكُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ رَصَدࣰ ا

Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him

73:5 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
إِنَّا سَنُلۡقِي عَلَيۡكَ قَوۡلࣰ ا ثَقِيلًا

Soon shall We send down to thee a weighty Message

73:7 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
إِنَّ لَكَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ سَبۡحࣰ ا طَوِيلࣰ ا

True, there is for thee by day prolonged occupation with ordinary duties

73:15 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ رَسُولࣰ ا شَٰهِدًا عَلَيۡكُمۡ كَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ رَسُولࣰ ا

We have sent to you, (O men!) a messenger, to be a witness concerning you, even as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh

73:20 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
۞إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَيِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَنِصۡفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَآئِفَةࣱ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرۡضَىٰ وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضۡرِبُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَبۡتَغُونَ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنۡهُۚ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنࣰ اۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرࣲ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيۡرࣰ ا وَأَعۡظَمَ أَجۡرࣰ اۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمُۢ

Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

74:9 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
فَذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَوۡمٌ عَسِيرٌ

That will be- that Day - a Day of Distress

74:10 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ غَيۡرُ يَسِيرࣲ‏

Far from easy for those without Faith

74:31 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
وَمَا جَعَلۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةࣰۖ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا عِدَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّا فِتۡنَةࣰ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيَسۡتَيۡقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَيَزۡدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنࣰ ا وَلَا يَرۡتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضࣱ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلࣰ اۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡبَشَرِ

And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind

74:35 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
إِنَّهَا لَإِحۡدَى ٱلۡكُبَرِ

This is but one of the mighty (portents)

74:42 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
مَا سَلَكَكُمۡ فِي سَقَرَ

What led you into Hell Fire

75:32 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away

75:34 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰ

Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe

75:35 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
ثُمَّ أَوۡلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوۡلَىٰٓ

Again, Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe

75:40 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
أَلَيۡسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحۡـِۧيَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ

Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead

76:4 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّآ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَاْ وَأَغۡلَٰلࣰ ا وَسَعِيرًا

For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire

76:11 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةࣰ وَسُرُورࣰ ا

But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy

76:20 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيۡتَ نَعِيمࣰ ا وَمُلۡكࣰ ا كَبِيرًا

And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent

76:22 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ جَزَآءࣰ وَكَانَ سَعۡيُكُم مَّشۡكُورًا

Verily this is a Reward for you, and your Endeavour is accepted and recognised

76:23 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ تَنزِيلࣰ ا

It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages

77:16 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)

77:18 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

Thus do We deal with men of sin

77:39 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدࣱ فَكِيدُونِ

Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me

77:44 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Thus do We certainly reward the Doers of Good

78:37 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۖ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابࣰ ا

(From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between, (Allah) Most Gracious: None shall have power to argue with Him

78:38 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفࣰّ اۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابࣰ ا

The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by (Allah) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right

78:39 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا

That Day will be the sure Reality: Therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) return to his Lord

78:40 النَّبَاِ An-Naba
إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابࣰ ا قَرِيبࣰ ا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا

Verily, We have warned you of a Penalty near, the Day when man will see (the deeds) which his hands have sent forth, and the Unbeliever will say, "Woe unto me! Would that I were (metre) dust

79:12 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
قَالُواْ تِلۡكَ إِذࣰ ا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةࣱ‏

They say: "It would, in that case, be a return with loss

79:18 النَّازِعَاتِ An-Naazi'aat
فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ

And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)
