6:30 الْاَنْعَامِ Al-An'aam
وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡۚ قَالَ أَلَيۡسَ هَٰذَا بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَاۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ

If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith

6:78 الْاَنْعَامِ Al-An'aam
فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلشَّمۡسَ بَازِغَةࣰ قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّي هَٰذَآ أَكۡبَرُۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَتۡ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءࣱ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

When he saw the sun rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord; this is the greatest (of all)." But when the sun set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free from your (guilt) of giving partners to Allah

18:67 الْكَهْفِ Al-Kahf
قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسۡتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبۡرࣰ ا

(The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me

قَالَ لَقَدۡ كُنتُمۡ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُمۡ فِي ضَلَٰلࣲ مُّبِينࣲ‏

He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers

23:108 الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ Al-Muminoon
قَالَ ٱخۡسَـُٔواْ فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ

He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me

He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition

He said: "O Adam! Tell them their names." When he had told them, Allah said: "Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal

7:76 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوٓاْ إِنَّا بِٱلَّذِيٓ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

The Arrogant party said: "For our part, we reject what ye believe in

(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised

He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood

قَالَ لِلۡمَلَإِ حَوۡلَهُۥٓ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمࣱ‏

(Pharaoh) said to the Chiefs around him: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed

26:62 الشُّعَرَآءِ Ash-Shu'araa
قَالَ كَلَّآۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ

(Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ

(Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised

3:52 اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ Aal-i-Imraan
۞فَلَمَّآ أَحَسَّ عِيسَىٰ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ قَالَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَٱشۡهَدۡ بِأَنَّا مُسۡلِمُونَ

When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims

10:80 يُوْنُسَ Yunus
فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلۡقُواْ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلۡقُونَ

When the sorcerers came, Moses said to them: "Throw ye what ye (wish) to throw

26:27 الشُّعَرَآءِ Ash-Shu'araa
قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُرۡسِلَ إِلَيۡكُمۡ لَمَجۡنُونࣱ‏

(Pharaoh) said: "Truly your messenger who has been sent to you is a veritable madman

7:60 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
قَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِي ضَلَٰلࣲ مُّبِينࣲ‏

The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)

15:32 الْحِجْرِ Al-Hijr
قَالَ يَٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ

(Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves

15:56 الْحِجْرِ Al-Hijr
قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

He said: "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, but such as go astray

18:72 الْكَهْفِ Al-Kahf
قَالَ أَلَمۡ أَقُلۡ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسۡتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبۡرࣰ ا

He answered: "Did I not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me

20:21 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالَ خُذۡهَا وَلَا تَخَفۡۖ سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

(Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition

20:57 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالَ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتُخۡرِجَنَا مِنۡ أَرۡضِنَا بِسِحۡرِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

He said: "Hast thou come to drive us out of our land with thy magic, O Moses

23:114 الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ Al-Muminoon
قَٰلَ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلࣰ اۖ لَّوۡ أَنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known

36:26 يٰسٓ Yaseen
قِيلَ ٱدۡخُلِ ٱلۡجَنَّةَۖ قَالَ يَٰلَيۡتَ قَوۡمِي يَعۡلَمُونَ

It was said: "Enter thou the Garden." He said: "Ah me! Would that my People knew (what I know)

18:96 الْكَهْفِ Al-Kahf
ءَاتُونِي زُبَرَ ٱلۡحَدِيدِۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا سَاوَىٰ بَيۡنَ ٱلصَّدَفَيۡنِ قَالَ ٱنفُخُواْۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَعَلَهُۥ نَارࣰ ا قَالَ ءَاتُونِيٓ أُفۡرِغۡ عَلَيۡهِ قِطۡرࣰ ا

Bring me blocks of iron." At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain-sides, He said, "Blow (with your bellows)" Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead

7:109 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
قَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمࣱ‏

Said the Chiefs of the people of Pharaoh: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed

7:114 الْاَعْرَافِ Al-A'raaf
قَالَ نَعَمۡ وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ

He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)

15:52 الْحِجْرِ Al-Hijr
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمࣰ ا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ

When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you

(Allah) said: "We have tested thy people in thy absence: the Samiri has led them astray

Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship
