49:2 الْحُجُراتِ Al-Hujuraat
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَرۡفَعُوٓاْ أَصۡوَٰتَكُمۡ فَوۡقَ صَوۡتِ ٱلنَّبِيِّ وَلَا تَجۡهَرُواْ لَهُۥ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ كَجَهۡرِ بَعۡضِكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ أَن تَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ

O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not

49:13 الْحُجُراتِ Al-Hujuraat
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرࣲ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ شُعُوبࣰ ا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ أَكۡرَمَكُمۡ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتۡقَىٰكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرࣱ‏

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)

50:9 قٓ Qaaf
وَنَزَّلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءࣰ مُّبَٰرَكࣰ ا فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّٰتࣲ وَحَبَّ ٱلۡحَصِيدِ

And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests

50:10 قٓ Qaaf
وَٱلنَّخۡلَ بَاسِقَٰتࣲ لَّهَا طَلۡعࣱ نَّضِيدࣱ‏

And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another

And in Moses (was another Sign): Behold, We sent him to Pharaoh, with authority manifest

وَفِي عَادٍ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلۡعَقِيمَ

And in the 'Ad (people) (was another Sign): Behold, We sent against them the devastating Wind

52:14 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

This:, it will be said, "Is the Fire,- which ye were wont to deny

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ

They will say: "Aforetime, we were not without fear for the sake of our people

وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلۡوَٰحࣲ وَدُسُرࣲ‏

But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre

54:19 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ رِيحࣰ ا صَرۡصَرࣰ ا فِي يَوۡمِ نَحۡسࣲ مُّسۡتَمِرࣲّ‏

For We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster

تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلࣲ مُّنقَعِرࣲ‏

Plucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground)

54:23 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

The Thamud (also) rejected (their) Warners

54:27 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّا مُرۡسِلُواْ ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتۡنَةࣰ لَّهُمۡ فَٱرۡتَقِبۡهُمۡ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ

For We will send the she-camel by way of trial for them. So watch them, (O Salih), and possess thyself in patience

54:31 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَيۡحَةࣰ وَٰحِدَةࣰ فَكَانُواْ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِ

For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle

54:33 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ لُوطِۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

The people of Lut rejected (his) warning

54:34 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطࣲۖ نَّجَّيۡنَٰهُم بِسَحَرࣲ‏

We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut's household: them We delivered by early Dawn

54:36 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
وَلَقَدۡ أَنذَرَهُم بَطۡشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوۡاْ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ ٱلنُّذُرُ

To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah)

54:48 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
يَوۡمَ يُسۡحَبُونَ فِي ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ ذُوقُواْ مَسَّ سَقَرَ

The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell

55:6 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدَانِ

And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration

فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةࣱ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ

Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates)

55:41 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ

(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet

56:12 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

In Gardens of Bliss

56:36 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُنَّ أَبۡكَارًا

And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled)

56:62 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ فَلَوۡلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

And ye certainly know already the first form of creation: why then do ye not celebrate His praises

56:65 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ حُطَٰمࣰ ا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُونَ

Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment

56:70 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
لَوۡ نَشَآءُ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ أُجَاجࣰ ا فَلَوۡلَا تَشۡكُرُونَ

Were it Our Will, We could make it salt (and unpalatable): then why do ye not give thanks

56:71 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِي تُورُونَ

See ye the Fire which ye kindle

56:73 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
نَحۡنُ جَعَلۡنَٰهَا تَذۡكِرَةࣰ وَمَتَٰعࣰ ا لِّلۡمُقۡوِينَ

We have made it a memorial (of Our handiwork), and an article of comfort and convenience for the denizens of deserts

56:75 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
۞فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ

Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars

57:6 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
يُولِجُ ٱلَّيۡلَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِي ٱلَّيۡلِۚ وَهُوَ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

He merges Night into Day, and He merges Day into Night; and He has full knowledge of the secrets of (all) hearts

57:9 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
هُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُنَزِّلُ عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦٓ ءَايَٰتِۭ بَيِّنَٰتࣲ لِّيُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُمۡ لَرَءُوفࣱ رَّحِيمࣱ‏

He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful

57:15 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا يُؤۡخَذُ مِنكُمۡ فِدۡيَةࣱ وَلَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ مَأۡوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُۖ هِيَ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

This Day shall no ransom be accepted of you, nor of those who rejected Allah." Your abode is the Fire: that is the proper place to claim you: and an evil refuge it is

57:24 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
ٱلَّذِينَ يَبۡخَلُونَ وَيَأۡمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلۡبُخۡلِۗ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ ٱلۡحَمِيدُ

Such persons as are covetous and commend covetousness to men. And if any turn back (from Allah's Way), verily Allah is Free of all Needs, Worthy of all Praise

57:25 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
لَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلَنَا بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَنزَلۡنَا مَعَهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ لِيَقُومَ ٱلنَّاسُ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَأَنزَلۡنَا ٱلۡحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأۡسࣱ شَدِيدࣱ وَمَنَٰفِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعۡلَمَ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُۥ وَرُسُلَهُۥ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزࣱ‏

We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, Unseen, Him and His messengers: For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will)

57:26 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحࣰ ا وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلۡكِتَٰبَۖ فَمِنۡهُم مُّهۡتَدࣲۖ وَكَثِيرࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ

And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation: and some of them were on right guidance. But many of them became rebellious transgressors

57:27 الْحَدِيْدِ Al-Hadid
ثُمَّ قَفَّيۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيۡنَا بِعِيسَى ٱبۡنِ مَرۡيَمَ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡإِنجِيلَۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ رَأۡفَةࣰ وَرَحۡمَةࣰۚ وَرَهۡبَانِيَّةً ٱبۡتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبۡنَٰهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ رِضۡوَٰنِ ٱللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوۡهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَاۖ فَـَٔاتَيۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُمۡۖ وَكَثِيرࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ

Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors

58:5 الْمُجَادَلَةِ Al-Mujaadila
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَآدُّونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ كُبِتُواْ كَمَا كُبِتَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ وَقَدۡ أَنزَلۡنَآ ءَايَٰتِۭ بَيِّنَٰتࣲۚ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِينࣱ‏

Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be humbled to dust, as were those before them: for We have already sent down Clear Signs. And the Unbelievers (will have) a humiliating Penalty

58:8 الْمُجَادَلَةِ Al-Mujaadila
أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نُهُواْ عَنِ ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُواْ عَنۡهُ وَيَتَنَٰجَوۡنَ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ وَمَعۡصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِۖ وَإِذَا جَآءُوكَ حَيَّوۡكَ بِمَا لَمۡ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ ٱللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَوۡلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا ٱللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُۚ حَسۡبُهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

Turnest thou not thy sight towards those who were forbidden secret counsels yet revert to that which they were forbidden (to do)? And they hold secret counsels among themselves for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to thee, they salute thee, not as Allah salutes thee, (but in crooked ways): And they say to themselves, "Why does not Allah punish us for our words?" Enough for them is Hell: In it will they burn, and evil is that destination

58:10 الْمُجَادَلَةِ Al-Mujaadila
إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ مِنَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ لِيَحۡزُنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَيۡسَ بِضَآرِّهِمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Evil One, in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits; and on Allah let the Believers put their trust

58:17 الْمُجَادَلَةِ Al-Mujaadila
لَّن تُغۡنِيَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

Of no profit whatever to them, against Allah, will be their riches nor their sons: they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)

59:3 الْحَشْرِ Al-Hashr
وَلَوۡلَآ أَن كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡجَلَآءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابُ ٱلنَّارِ

And had it not been that Allah had decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: And in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire
