وَٱسۡتَمِعۡ يَوۡمَ يُنَادِ ٱلۡمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانࣲ قَرِيبࣲ‏

And listen for the Day when the Caller will call out from a place quiet near

Verily it is We Who give Life and Death; and to Us is the Final Goal

وَفِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقࣱّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ

And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking)

51:24 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَ

Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham

51:31 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
۞قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ

(Abraham) said: "And what, O ye Messengers, is your errand (now)

51:35 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there

51:36 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِيهَا غَيۡرَ بَيۡتࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

But We found not there any just (Muslim) persons except in one house

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنَٰهَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَٰهِدُونَ

And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out

51:55 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers

51:58 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِينُ

For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever)

52:4 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَٱلۡبَيۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡمُورِ

By the much-frequented Fane

52:5 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَٱلسَّقۡفِ ٱلۡمَرۡفُوعِ

By the Canopy Raised High

52:6 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ

And by the Ocean filled with Swell

52:17 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتࣲ وَنَعِيمࣲ‏

As to the Righteous, they will be in Gardens, and in Happiness

52:30 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرࣱ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيۡبَ ٱلۡمَنُونِ

Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time

52:31 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
قُلۡ تَرَبَّصُواْ فَإِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُتَرَبِّصِينَ

Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you

52:37 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡمُصَۜيۡطِرُونَ

Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)

52:42 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
أَمۡ يُرِيدُونَ كَيۡدࣰ اۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡمَكِيدُونَ

Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot

53:14 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass

عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓ

Near it is the Garden of Abode

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names

53:32 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةࣱ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ

Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil

53:42 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

That to thy Lord is the final Goal

53:53 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah)

54:12 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
وَفَجَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ عُيُونࣰ ا فَٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرࣲ قَدۡ قُدِرَ

And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed

54:28 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلۡمَآءَ قِسۡمَةُۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ كُلُّ شِرۡبࣲ مُّحۡتَضَرࣱ‏

And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns)

54:31 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَيۡحَةࣰ وَٰحِدَةࣰ فَكَانُواْ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِ

For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle

54:47 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلࣲ وَسُعُرࣲ‏

Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad

54:54 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتࣲ وَنَهَرࣲ‏

As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers

55:7 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ

And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice)

55:8 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ

In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance

55:9 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ

So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance

55:17 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ

(He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests

55:22 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ

Out of them come Pearls and Coral

55:24 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ

And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains

55:41 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ

(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet

55:43 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ

This is the Hell which the Sinners deny

55:58 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ

Like unto Rubies and coral

56:8 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand

56:9 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand

56:11 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

These will be those Nearest to Allah

56:23 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
كَأَمۡثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤۡلُوِٕ ٱلۡمَكۡنُونِ

Like unto Pearls well-guarded

56:51 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبُونَ

Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood

56:60 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
نَحۡنُ قَدَّرۡنَا بَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ

We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated

56:68 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱلَّذِي تَشۡرَبُونَ

See ye the water which ye drink

56:69 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنزَلۡتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُزۡنِ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنزِلُونَ

Do ye bring it down (in rain) from the cloud or do We

56:72 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنشَأۡتُمۡ شَجَرَتَهَآ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنشِـُٔونَ

Is it ye who grow the tree which feeds the fire, or do We grow it

56:79 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ

Which none shall touch but those who are clean
