52:47 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ عَذَابࣰ ا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not

۞وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكࣲ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ

How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him

53:27 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

Those who believe not in the Hereafter, name the angels with female names

53:28 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـࣰٔ ا

But they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth

53:29 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَلَمۡ يُرِدۡ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world

53:30 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
ذَٰلِكَ مَبۡلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ

That is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance

53:32 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةࣱ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ

Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil

53:35 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ

What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see

53:36 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses

وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

That to thy Lord is the final Goal

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ

And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors

53:53 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah)

54:12 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
وَفَجَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ عُيُونࣰ ا فَٱلۡتَقَى ٱلۡمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرࣲ قَدۡ قُدِرَ

And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed

54:14 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
تَجۡرِي بِأَعۡيُنِنَا جَزَآءࣰ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ

She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)

54:26 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
سَيَعۡلَمُونَ غَدࣰ ا مَّنِ ٱلۡكَذَّابُ ٱلۡأَشِرُ

Ah! they will know on the morrow, which is the liar, the insolent one

54:28 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلۡمَآءَ قِسۡمَةُۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ كُلُّ شِرۡبࣲ مُّحۡتَضَرࣱ‏

And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns)

54:31 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَيۡحَةࣰ وَٰحِدَةࣰ فَكَانُواْ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِ

For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle

54:47 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَٰلࣲ وَسُعُرࣲ‏

Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad

54:50 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
وَمَآ أَمۡرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةࣱ كَلَمۡحِۭ بِٱلۡبَصَرِ

And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye

54:54 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّٰتࣲ وَنَهَرࣲ‏

As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers

55:2 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
عَلَّمَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ

It is He Who has taught the Qur'an

عَلَّمَهُ ٱلۡبَيَانَ

He has taught him speech (and intelligence)

55:7 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ

And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice)

55:8 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡمِيزَانِ

In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance

55:9 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ

So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance

55:17 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِ

(He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests

55:22 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ

Out of them come Pearls and Coral

55:24 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَلَهُ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ كَٱلۡأَعۡلَٰمِ

And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains

55:41 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
يُعۡرَفُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِي وَٱلۡأَقۡدَامِ

(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet

55:43 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ

This is the Hell which the Sinners deny

55:46 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِ

But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens

55:56 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنࣱّ‏

In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched

55:58 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ

Like unto Rubies and coral

55:74 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan
لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ إِنسࣱ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنࣱّ‏

Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched

56:8 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand

56:9 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand

56:11 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

These will be those Nearest to Allah

56:23 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
كَأَمۡثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤۡلُوِٕ ٱلۡمَكۡنُونِ

Like unto Pearls well-guarded

إِلَّا قِيلࣰ ا سَلَٰمࣰ ا سَلَٰمࣰ ا

Only the saying, "Peace! Peace

وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡيَمِينِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand

56:38 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

For the Companions of the Right Hand

56:47 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
وَكَانُواْ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰ ا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

And they used to say, "What! when we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised up again

56:50 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
لَمَجۡمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوۡمࣲ مَّعۡلُومࣲ‏

All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known

56:51 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبُونَ

Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood

56:60 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
نَحۡنُ قَدَّرۡنَا بَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ

We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated

56:61 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ أَمۡثَٰلَكُمۡ وَنُنشِئَكُمۡ فِي مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

from changing your Forms and creating you (again) in (forms) that ye know not

56:62 الْوَاقِعَةِ Al-Waaqia
وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ فَلَوۡلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

And ye certainly know already the first form of creation: why then do ye not celebrate His praises
