  1. 48:24 الْفَتْحِ Al-Fath

    وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي كَفَّ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ عَنكُمۡ وَأَيۡدِيَكُمۡ عَنۡهُم بِبَطۡنِ مَكَّةَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَنۡ أَظۡفَرَكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا

    And it is He Who has restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makka, after that He gave you the victory over them. And Allah sees well all that ye do

  2. 48:26 الْفَتْحِ Al-Fath

    إِذۡ جَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَأَلۡزَمَهُمۡ كَلِمَةَ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَكَانُوٓاْ أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهۡلَهَاۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمࣰ ا

    While the Unbelievers got up in their hearts heat and cant - the heat and cant of ignorance,- Allah sent down His Tranquillity to his Messenger and to the Believers, and made them stick close to the command of self-restraint; and well were they entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah has full knowledge of all things

  3. 49:5 الْحُجُراتِ Al-Hujuraat

    وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ صَبَرُواْ حَتَّىٰ تَخۡرُجَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ لَكَانَ خَيۡرࣰ ا لَّهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمࣱ‏

    If only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

  4. 49:7 الْحُجُراتِ Al-Hujuraat

    وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ فِيكُمۡ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِۚ لَوۡ يُطِيعُكُمۡ فِي كَثِيرࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَمۡرِ لَعَنِتُّمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ وَٱلۡفُسُوقَ وَٱلۡعِصۡيَانَۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ

    And know that among you is Allah's Messenger: were he, in many matters, to follow your (wishes), ye would certainly fall into misfortune: But Allah has endeared the Faith to you, and has made it beautiful in your hearts, and He has made hateful to you Unbelief, wickedness, and rebellion: such indeed are those who walk in righteousness

  5. 49:11 الْحُجُراتِ Al-Hujuraat

    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا يَسۡخَرۡ قَوۡمࣱ مِّن قَوۡمٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونُواْ خَيۡرࣰ ا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا نِسَآءࣱ مِّن نِّسَآءٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيۡرࣰ ا مِّنۡهُنَّۖ وَلَا تَلۡمِزُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَلَا تَنَابَزُواْ بِٱلۡأَلۡقَٰبِۖ بِئۡسَ ٱلِٱسۡمُ ٱلۡفُسُوقُ بَعۡدَ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنِۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَتُبۡ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

    O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong

  6. 49:14 الْحُجُراتِ Al-Hujuraat

    ۞قَالَتِ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابُ ءَامَنَّاۖ قُل لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُواْ وَلَٰكِن قُولُوٓاْ أَسۡلَمۡنَا وَلَمَّا يَدۡخُلِ ٱلۡإِيمَٰنُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡۖ وَإِن تُطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَا يَلِتۡكُم مِّنۡ أَعۡمَٰلِكُمۡ شَيۡـًٔاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمٌ

    The desert Arabs say, "We believe." Say, "Ye have no faith; but ye (only) say, 'We have submitted our wills to Allah,' For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

  7. 49:17 الْحُجُراتِ Al-Hujuraat

    يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيۡكَ أَنۡ أَسۡلَمُواْۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّواْ عَلَيَّ إِسۡلَٰمَكُمۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ أَنۡ هَدَىٰكُمۡ لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

    They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere

  8. 50:3 قٓ Qaaf

    أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰ اۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجۡعُۢ بَعِيدࣱ‏

    What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)

  9. 50:19 قٓ Qaaf

    وَجَآءَتۡ سَكۡرَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنۡهُ تَحِيدُ

    And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape

  10. 50:22 قٓ Qaaf

    لَّقَدۡ كُنتَ فِي غَفۡلَةࣲ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفۡنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ حَدِيدࣱ‏

    (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day

  11. 50:27 قٓ Qaaf

    ۞قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطۡغَيۡتُهُۥ وَلَٰكِن كَانَ فِي ضَلَٰلِۭ بَعِيدࣲ‏

    His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray

  12. 50:36 قٓ Qaaf

    وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشࣰ ا فَنَقَّبُواْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِيصٍ

    But how many generations before them did We destroy (for their sins),- stronger in power than they? Then did they wander through the land: was there any place of escape (for them)

  13. 50:37 قٓ Qaaf

    إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلۡبٌ أَوۡ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدࣱ‏

    Verily in this is a Message for any that has a heart and understanding or who gives ear and earnestly witnesses (the truth)

  14. 50:41 قٓ Qaaf

    وَٱسۡتَمِعۡ يَوۡمَ يُنَادِ ٱلۡمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانࣲ قَرِيبࣲ‏

    And listen for the Day when the Caller will call out from a place quiet near

  15. 51:14 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ

    Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened

  16. 51:16 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَبۡلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحۡسِنِينَ

    Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life

  17. 51:17 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    كَانُواْ قَلِيلࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مَا يَهۡجَعُونَ

    They were in the habit of sleeping but little by night

  18. 51:35 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there

  19. 51:37 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    وَتَرَكۡنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةࣰ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِيمَ

    And We left there a Sign for such as fear the Grievous Penalty

  20. 51:39 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكۡنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونࣱ‏

    But (Pharaoh) turned back with his Chiefs, and said, "A sorcerer, or one possessed

  21. 51:45 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامࣲ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ

    Then they could not even stand (on their feet), nor could they help themselves

  22. 51:46 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat

    وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمࣰ ا فَٰسِقِينَ

    So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed

  23. 52:14 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

    This:, it will be said, "Is the Fire,- which ye were wont to deny

  24. 52:16 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    ٱصۡلَوۡهَا فَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْ أَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

    Burn ye therein: the same is it to you whether ye bear it with patience, or not: Ye but receive the recompense of your (own) deeds

  25. 52:19 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

    (To them will be said:) "Eat and drink ye, with profit and health, because of your (good) deeds

  26. 52:20 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرࣲ مَّصۡفُوفَةࣲۖ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينࣲ‏

    They will recline (with ease) on Thrones (of dignity) arranged in ranks; and We shall join them to Companions, with beautiful big and lustrous eyes

  27. 52:24 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    ۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غِلۡمَانࣱ لَّهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤࣱ مَّكۡنُونࣱ‏

    Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them, young male servants (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded

  28. 52:26 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ

    They will say: "Aforetime, we were not without fear for the sake of our people

  29. 52:28 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبۡلُ نَدۡعُوهُۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

    Truly, we did call unto Him from of old: truly it is He, the Beneficent, the Merciful

  30. 52:34 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    فَلۡيَأۡتُواْ بِحَدِيثࣲ مِّثۡلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُواْ صَٰدِقِينَ

    Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth

  31. 52:43 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    أَمۡ لَهُمۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

    Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him

  32. 52:47 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur

    وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ عَذَابࣰ ا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

    And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not

  33. 53:9 النَّجْمِ An-Najm

    فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰ

    And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer

    وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ

    And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors

  35. 53:60 النَّجْمِ An-Najm

    وَتَضۡحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبۡكُونَ

    And will ye laugh and not weep

    خُشَّعًا أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمۡ جَرَادࣱ مُّنتَشِرࣱ‏

    They will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad

  37. 54:14 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar

    تَجۡرِي بِأَعۡيُنِنَا جَزَآءࣰ لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ

    She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)

  38. 54:15 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar

    وَلَقَد تَّرَكۡنَٰهَآ ءَايَةࣰ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرࣲ‏

    And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition

    The 'Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was My Penalty and My Warning

  41. 54:20 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar

    تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلࣲ مُّنقَعِرࣲ‏

    Plucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground)

    إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَيۡحَةࣰ وَٰحِدَةࣰ فَكَانُواْ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِ

    For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle

  45. 54:51 الْقَمَرِ Al-Qamar

    وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشۡيَاعَكُمۡ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرࣲ‏

    And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition

  46. 55:37 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan

    فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةࣰ كَٱلدِّهَانِ

    When the sky is rent asunder, and it becomes red like ointment

  47. 55:54 الرَّحْمٰنِ Ar-Rahmaan

    مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقࣲۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانࣲ‏

    They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach)

    كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلۡيَاقُوتُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ
