18:106 الْكَهْفِ Al-Kahf
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُ بِمَا كَفَرُواْ وَٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِي وَرُسُلِي هُزُوًا

That is their reward, Hell, because they rejected Faith, and took My Signs and My Messengers by way of jest

26:158 الشُّعَرَآءِ Ash-Shu'araa
فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةࣰۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

But the Penalty seized them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe

29:19 الْعَنْكَبُوْتِ Al-Ankaboot
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَيۡفَ يُبۡدِئُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرࣱ‏

See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah

50:3 قٓ Qaaf
أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰ اۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجۡعُۢ بَعِيدࣱ‏

What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)

29:44 الْعَنْكَبُوْتِ Al-Ankaboot
خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةࣰ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Allah created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): verily in that is a Sign for those who believe

38:25 صٓ Saad
فَغَفَرۡنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابࣲ‏

So We forgave him this (lapse): he enjoyed, indeed, a Near Approach to Us, and a beautiful place of (Final) Return

50:19 قٓ Qaaf
وَجَآءَتۡ سَكۡرَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنۡهُ تَحِيدُ

And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape

52:47 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ عَذَابࣰ ا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not

70:44 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
خَٰشِعَةً أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ ذِلَّةࣱۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ

Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised

9:27 التَّوْبَةِ At-Tawba
ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمࣱ‏

Again will Allah, after this, turn (in mercy) to whom He will: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful

9:89 التَّوْبَةِ At-Tawba
أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣲ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

Allah hath prepared for them gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein: that is the supreme felicity

15:66 الْحِجْرِ Al-Hijr
وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعࣱ مُّصۡبِحِينَ

And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning

25:67 الْفُرْقَانِ Al-Furqaan
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَنفَقُواْ لَمۡ يُسۡرِفُواْ وَلَمۡ يَقۡتُرُواْ وَكَانَ بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامࣰ ا

Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes)

36:38 يٰسٓ Yaseen
وَٱلشَّمۡسُ تَجۡرِي لِمُسۡتَقَرࣲّ لَّهَاۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقۡدِيرُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡعَلِيمِ

And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing

39:34 الزُّمَرِ Az-Zumar
لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

They shall have all that they wish for, in the presence of their Lord: such is the reward of those who do good

42:43 الشُّوْرٰي Ash-Shura
وَلَمَن صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ

But indeed if any show patience and forgive, that would truly be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs

Open ayah In surah context Juz 25
76:11 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمۡ نَضۡرَةࣰ وَسُرُورࣰ ا

But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy

3:94 اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ Aal-i-Imraan
فَمَنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ

If any, after this, invent a lie and attribute it to Allah, they are indeed unjust wrong-doers

Open ayah In surah context Juz 4
18:64 الْكَهْفِ Al-Kahf
قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبۡغِۚ فَٱرۡتَدَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَارِهِمَا قَصَصࣰ ا

Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 15
26:139 الشُّعَرَآءِ Ash-Shu'araa
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةࣰۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ

So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe

34:17 سَبَاٍ Saba
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَ

That was the Requital We gave them because they ungratefully rejected Faith: and never do We give (such) requital except to such as are ungrateful rejecters

Open ayah In surah context Juz 22
62:4 الْجُمُعَةِ Al-Jumu'a
ذَٰلِكَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلۡفَضۡلِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: and Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty

63:3 الْمُنَافِقُوْنَ Al-Munaafiqoon
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ

That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So a seal was set on their hearts: therefore they understand not

Open ayah In surah context Juz 28
3:89 اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ Aal-i-Imraan
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصۡلَحُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمٌ

Except for those that repent (Even) after that, and make amends; for verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

Open ayah In surah context Juz 3
22:10 الْحَجِّ Al-Hajj
ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيۡسَ بِظَلَّٰمࣲ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ

(It will be said): "This is because of the deeds which thy hands sent forth, for verily Allah is not unjust to His servants

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
24:44 النُّوْرِ An-Noor
يُقَلِّبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةࣰ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ

It is Allah Who alternates the Night and the Day: verily in these things is an instructive example for those who have vision

Open ayah In surah context Juz 18
50:44 قٓ Qaaf
يَوۡمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ عَنۡهُمۡ سِرَاعࣰ اۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشۡرٌ عَلَيۡنَا يَسِيرࣱ‏

The Day when the Earth will be rent asunder, from (men) hurrying out: that will be a gathering together,- quite easy for Us

Open ayah In surah context Juz 26
59:4 الْحَشْرِ Al-Hashr
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ شَآقُّواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۖ وَمَن يُشَآقِّ ٱللَّهَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

That is because they resisted Allah and His Messenger: and if any one resists Allah, verily Allah is severe in Punishment

Open ayah In surah context Juz 28
3:182 اٰلِ عِمْرٰنَ Aal-i-Imraan
ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيكُمۡ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيۡسَ بِظَلَّامࣲ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ

This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him

Open ayah In surah context Juz 4
6:131 الْاَنْعَامِ Al-An'aam
ذَٰلِكَ أَن لَّمۡ يَكُن رَّبُّكَ مُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ بِظُلۡمࣲ وَأَهۡلُهَا غَٰفِلُونَ

(The messengers were sent) thus, for thy Lord would not destroy for their wrong-doing men's habitations whilst their occupants were unwarned

Open ayah In surah context Juz 8
12:49 يُوسُفَ Yusuf
ثُمَّ يَأۡتِي مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَامࣱ فِيهِ يُغَاثُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَفِيهِ يَعۡصِرُونَ

Then will come after that (period) a year in which the people will have abundant water, and in which they will press (wine and oil)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 12
27:52 النَّمْلِ An-Naml
فَتِلۡكَ بُيُوتُهُمۡ خَاوِيَةَۢ بِمَا ظَلَمُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةࣰ لِّقَوۡمࣲ يَعۡلَمُونَ

Now such were their houses, - in utter ruin, - because they practised wrong-doing. Verily in this is a Sign for people of knowledge

4:133 النِّسَآءِ An-Nisaa
إِن يَشَأۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَيَأۡتِ بِـَٔاخَرِينَۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرࣰ ا

If it were His will, He could destroy you, o mankind, and create another race; for He hath power this to do

Open ayah In surah context Juz 5
16:107 النَّحْلِ An-Nahl
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا عَلَى ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith

47:28 مُحَمَّدٍ Muhammad
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱتَّبَعُواْ مَآ أَسۡخَطَ ٱللَّهَ وَكَرِهُواْ رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

This because they followed that which called forth the Wrath of Allah, and they hated Allah's good pleasure; so He made their deeds of no effect

Open ayah In surah context Juz 26
11:100 هُوْدٍ Hud
ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّهُۥ عَلَيۡكَۖ مِنۡهَا قَآئِمࣱ وَحَصِيدࣱ‏

These are some of the stories of communities which We relate unto thee: of them some are standing, and some have been mown down (by the sickle of time)

21:82 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
وَمِنَ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ مَن يَغُوصُونَ لَهُۥ وَيَعۡمَلُونَ عَمَلࣰ ا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَكُنَّا لَهُمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ

And of the evil ones, were some who dived for him, and did other work besides; and it was We Who guarded them

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
22:12 الْحَجِّ Al-Hajj
يَدۡعُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُۥ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُۥۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَٰلُ ٱلۡبَعِيدُ

They call on such deities, besides Allah, as can neither hurt nor profit them: that is straying far indeed (from the Way)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
22:32 الْحَجِّ Al-Hajj
ذَٰلِكَۖ وَمَن يُعَظِّمۡ شَعَٰٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقۡوَى ٱلۡقُلُوبِ

Such (is his state): and whoever holds in honour the symbols of Allah, (in the sacrifice of animals), such (honour) should come truly from piety of heart

50:37 قٓ Qaaf
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلۡبٌ أَوۡ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدࣱ‏

Verily in this is a Message for any that has a heart and understanding or who gives ear and earnestly witnesses (the truth)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 26
64:9 التَّغَابُنِ At-Taghaabun
يَوۡمَ يَجۡمَعُكُمۡ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡجَمۡعِۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِۗ وَمَن يُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَيَعۡمَلۡ صَٰلِحࣰ ا يُكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّٰتࣲ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدࣰ اۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

The Day that He assembles you (all) for a Day of Assembly,- that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you), and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness,- He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement

8:13 الْاَنْفَالِ Al-Anfaal
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ شَآقُّواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥۚ وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

This because they contended against Allah and His Messenger: If any contend against Allah and His Messenger, Allah is strict in punishment

23:63 الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ Al-Muminoon
بَلۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةࣲ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلࣱ مِّن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمۡ لَهَا عَٰمِلُونَ

But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do

Open ayah In surah context Juz 18
2:64 البَقَرَةِ Al-Baqara
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيۡتُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَۖ فَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

But ye turned back thereafter: Had it not been for the Grace and Mercy of Allah to you, ye had surely been among the lost

Open ayah In surah context Juz 1
5:58 المَآئِدَةِ Al-Maaida
وَإِذَا نَادَيۡتُمۡ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوࣰ ا وَلَعِبࣰ اۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا يَعۡقِلُونَ

When ye proclaim your call to prayer they take it (but) as mockery and sport; that is because they are a people without understanding

Open ayah In surah context Juz 6
11:65 هُوْدٍ Hud
فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُواْ فِي دَارِكُمۡ ثَلَٰثَةَ أَيَّامࣲۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعۡدٌ غَيۡرُ مَكۡذُوبࣲ‏

But they did ham-string her. So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days: (Then will be your ruin): (Behold) there a promise not to be belied

30:37 الرُّوْمِ Ar-Room
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

See they not that Allah enlarges the provision and restricts it, to whomsoever He pleases? Verily in that are Signs for those who believe

39:52 الزُّمَرِ Az-Zumar
أَوَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Know they not that Allah enlarges the provision or restricts it, for any He pleases? Verily, in this are Signs for those who believe

45:30 الْجَاثِيَةِ Al-Jaathiya
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُدۡخِلُهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ فِي رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

Then, as to those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them to His Mercy that will be the achievement for all to see

Open ayah In surah context Juz 25
59:13 الْحَشْرِ Al-Hashr
لَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ رَهۡبَةࣰ فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ

Of a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts, (sent) by Allah. This is because they are men devoid of understanding
