70:6 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
إِنَّهُمۡ يَرَوۡنَهُۥ بَعِيدࣰ ا

They see the (Day) indeed as a far-off (event)

70:11 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ

Though they will be put in sight of each other,- the sinner's desire will be: Would that he could redeem himself from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children

70:15 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهَا لَظَىٰ

By no means! for it would be the Fire of Hell

70:30 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ

Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed

70:38 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
أَيَطۡمَعُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيࣲٕ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُدۡخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمࣲ‏

Does every man of them long to enter the Garden of Bliss

70:39 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
كَلَّآۖ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ

By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know

70:41 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ خَيۡرࣰ ا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ

Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan)

70:43 الْمَعَارِجِ Al-Ma'aarij
يَوۡمَ يَخۡرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ سِرَاعࣰ ا كَأَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ نُصُبࣲ يُوفِضُونَ

The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them)

71:5 نُوْحٍ Nooh
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِي لَيۡلࣰ ا وَنَهَارࣰ ا

He said: "O my Lord! I have called to my People night and day

وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارࣰ ا

And every time I have called to them, that Thou mightest forgive them, they have (only) thrust their fingers into their ears, covered themselves up with their garments, grown obstinate, and given themselves up to arrogance

71:10 نُوْحٍ Nooh
فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارࣰ ا

Saying, 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving

71:12 نُوْحٍ Nooh
وَيُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَٰلࣲ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّٰتࣲ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡهَٰرࣰ ا

Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water)

71:20 نُوْحٍ Nooh
لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلࣰ ا فِجَاجࣰ ا

That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads

71:21 نُوْحٍ Nooh
قَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِي وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ يَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارࣰ ا

Noah said: "O my Lord! They have disobeyed me, but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no increase but only Loss

72:1 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
قُلۡ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ ٱسۡتَمَعَ نَفَرࣱ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ فَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا سَمِعۡنَا قُرۡءَانًا عَجَبࣰ ا

Say: It has been revealed to me that a company of Jinns listened (to the Qur'an). They said, 'We have really heard a wonderful Recital

72:3 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةࣰ وَلَا وَلَدࣰ ا

And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son

72:4 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى ٱللَّهِ شَطَطࣰ ا

There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah

72:6 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالࣱ مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمۡ رَهَقࣰ ا

True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly

72:7 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّهُمۡ ظَنُّواْ كَمَا ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن لَّن يَبۡعَثَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدࣰ ا

And they (came to) think as ye thought, that Allah would not raise up any one (to Judgment)

72:8 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّا لَمَسۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ فَوَجَدۡنَٰهَا مُلِئَتۡ حَرَسࣰ ا شَدِيدࣰ ا وَشُهُبࣰ ا

And we pried into the secrets of heaven; but we found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires

72:9 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقۡعُدُ مِنۡهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمۡعِۖ فَمَن يَسۡتَمِعِ ٱلۡأٓنَ يَجِدۡ لَهُۥ شِهَابࣰ ا رَّصَدࣰ ا

We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush

72:16 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَلَّوِ ٱسۡتَقَٰمُواْ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقࣰ ا

(And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance

72:17 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
لِّنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ فِيهِۚ وَمَن يُعۡرِضۡ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّهِۦ يَسۡلُكۡهُ عَذَابࣰ ا صَعَدࣰ ا

That We might try them by that (means). But if any turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will cause him to undergo a severe Penalty

72:19 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
وَأَنَّهُۥ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبۡدُ ٱللَّهِ يَدۡعُوهُ كَادُواْ يَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡهِ لِبَدࣰ ا

Yet when the Devotee of Allah stands forth to invoke Him, they just make round him a dense crowd

72:22 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
قُلۡ إِنِّي لَن يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدࣱ وَلَنۡ أَجِدَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مُلۡتَحَدًا

Say: "No one can deliver me from Allah (If I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him

72:27 الْجِنِّ Al-Jinn
إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرۡتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولࣲ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسۡلُكُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦ رَصَدࣰ ا

Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him

73:3 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
نِّصۡفَهُۥٓ أَوِ ٱنقُصۡ مِنۡهُ قَلِيلًا

Half of it,- or a little less

73:7 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
إِنَّ لَكَ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ سَبۡحࣰ ا طَوِيلࣰ ا

True, there is for thee by day prolonged occupation with ordinary duties

73:16 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
فَعَصَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ أَخۡذࣰ ا وَبِيلࣰ ا

But Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger; so We seized him with a heavy Punishment

73:20 الْمُزَّمِّلِ Al-Muzzammil
۞إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ أَدۡنَىٰ مِن ثُلُثَيِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَنِصۡفَهُۥ وَثُلُثَهُۥ وَطَآئِفَةࣱ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مَعَكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ عَلِمَ أَن لَّن تُحۡصُوهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكُونُ مِنكُم مَّرۡضَىٰ وَءَاخَرُونَ يَضۡرِبُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَبۡتَغُونَ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ وَءَاخَرُونَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ فَٱقۡرَءُواْ مَا تَيَسَّرَ مِنۡهُۚ وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنࣰ اۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرࣲ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيۡرࣰ ا وَأَعۡظَمَ أَجۡرࣰ اۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِيمُۢ

Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

74:16 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِأٓيَٰتِنَا عَنِيدࣰ ا

By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory

74:18 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ

For he thought and he plotted

74:35 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
إِنَّهَا لَإِحۡدَى ٱلۡكُبَرِ

This is but one of the mighty (portents)

74:50 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
كَأَنَّهُمۡ حُمُرࣱ مُّسۡتَنفِرَةࣱ‏

As if they were affrighted asses

74:52 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
بَلۡ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيࣲٕ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰ صُحُفࣰ ا مُّنَشَّرَةࣰ‏

Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out

74:54 الْمُدَّثِّرِ Al-Muddaththir
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذۡكِرَةࣱ‏

Nay, this surely is an admonition

75:4 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُۥ

Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers

75:17 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ

It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it

75:18 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ

But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated)

75:19 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا بَيَانَهُۥ

Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear)

75:28 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡفِرَاقُ

And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting

75:39 الْقِيَامَةِ Al-Qiyaama
فَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ

And of him He made two sexes, male and female

76:2 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ أَمۡشَاجࣲ نَّبۡتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ سَمِيعَۢا بَصِيرًا

Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight

76:3 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
إِنَّا هَدَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرࣰ ا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا

We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will)

76:6 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
عَيۡنࣰ ا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفۡجِيرࣰ ا

A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance

76:24 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
فَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعۡ مِنۡهُمۡ ءَاثِمًا أَوۡ كَفُورࣰ ا

Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them

76:28 الدَّهْرِ Al-Insaan
نَّحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَٰهُمۡ وَشَدَدۡنَآ أَسۡرَهُمۡۖ وَإِذَا شِئۡنَا بَدَّلۡنَآ أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ تَبۡدِيلًا

It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change

77:16 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)

77:21 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ فِي قَرَارࣲ مَّكِينٍ

The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed

77:32 الْمُرْسَلَاتِ Al-Mursalaat
إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِي بِشَرَرࣲ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ

Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts
