50:16 قٓ Qaaf
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُۥۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِيدِ

It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein

50:17 قٓ Qaaf
إِذۡ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلۡمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدࣱ‏

Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left

مَّا يَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيۡهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدࣱ‏

Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it)

50:19 قٓ Qaaf
وَجَآءَتۡ سَكۡرَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنۡهُ تَحِيدُ

And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape

50:22 قٓ Qaaf
لَّقَدۡ كُنتَ فِي غَفۡلَةࣲ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفۡنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ حَدِيدࣱ‏

(It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day

مَّنَّاعࣲ لِّلۡخَيۡرِ مُعۡتَدࣲ مُّرِيبٍ

Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions

يَوۡمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمۡتَلَأۡتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلۡ مِن مَّزِيدࣲ‏

One Day We will ask Hell, "Art thou filled to the full?" It will say, "Are there any more (to come)

50:33 قٓ Qaaf
مَّنۡ خَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلۡبࣲ مُّنِيبٍ

Who feared (Allah) Most Gracious Unseen, and brought a heart turned in devotion (to Him)

50:36 قٓ Qaaf
وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشࣰ ا فَنَقَّبُواْ فِي ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِيصٍ

But how many generations before them did We destroy (for their sins),- stronger in power than they? Then did they wander through the land: was there any place of escape (for them)

50:37 قٓ Qaaf
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلۡبٌ أَوۡ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدࣱ‏

Verily in this is a Message for any that has a heart and understanding or who gives ear and earnestly witnesses (the truth)

50:38 قٓ Qaaf
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامࣲ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبࣲ‏

We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us

50:40 قٓ Qaaf
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَأَدۡبَٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ

And during part of the night, (also,) celebrate His praises, and (so likewise) after the postures of adoration

وَٱسۡتَمِعۡ يَوۡمَ يُنَادِ ٱلۡمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانࣲ قَرِيبࣲ‏

And listen for the Day when the Caller will call out from a place quiet near

نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِجَبَّارࣲۖ فَذَكِّرۡ بِٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ

We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning

يُؤۡفَكُ عَنۡهُ مَنۡ أُفِكَ

Through which are deluded (away from the Truth) such as would be deluded

كَانُواْ قَلِيلࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مَا يَهۡجَعُونَ

They were in the habit of sleeping but little by night

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَ

Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham

51:25 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمࣰ اۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمࣱ قَوۡمࣱ مُّنكَرُونَ

Behold, they entered his presence, and said: "Peace!" He said, "Peace!" (and thought, "These seem) unusual people

51:26 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجۡلࣲ سَمِينࣲ‏

Then he turned quickly to his household, brought out a fatted calf

51:28 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَأَوۡجَسَ مِنۡهُمۡ خِيفَةࣰۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمࣲ‏

(When they did not eat), He conceived a fear of them. They said, "Fear not," and they gave him glad tidings of a son endowed with knowledge

51:32 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمࣲ مُّجۡرِمِينَ

They said, "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin

51:33 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةࣰ مِّن طِينࣲ‏

To bring on, on them, (a shower of) stones of clay (brimstone)

51:35 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there

51:36 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِيهَا غَيۡرَ بَيۡتࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

But We found not there any just (Muslim) persons except in one house

51:42 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيۡءٍ أَتَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتۡهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ

It left nothing whatever that it came up against, but reduced it to ruin and rottenness

51:45 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامࣲ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ

Then they could not even stand (on their feet), nor could they help themselves

51:46 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمࣰ ا فَٰسِقِينَ

So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed

51:49 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
وَمِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction

51:50 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَفِرُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرࣱ مُّبِينࣱ‏

Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open

51:51 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
وَلَا تَجۡعَلُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرࣱ مُّبِينࣱ‏

And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open

51:52 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ

Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed

51:55 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers

51:57 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقࣲ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطۡعِمُونِ

No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me

51:60 الذَّارِياتِ Adh-Dhaariyat
فَوَيۡلࣱ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ

Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised

فِي رَقࣲّ مَّنشُورࣲ‏

مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعࣲ‏

There is none can avert it

52:21 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّبَعَتۡهُمۡ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَٰنٍ أَلۡحَقۡنَا بِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ وَمَآ أَلَتۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيۡءࣲۚ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيِٕۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينࣱ‏

And those who believe and whose families follow them in Faith,- to them shall We join their families: Nor shall We deprive them (of the fruit) of aught of their works: (Yet) is each individual in pledge for his deeds

52:24 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غِلۡمَانࣱ لَّهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤࣱ مَّكۡنُونࣱ‏

Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them, young male servants (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded

52:27 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ

But Allah has been good to us, and has delivered us from the Penalty of the Scorching Wind

52:28 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبۡلُ نَدۡعُوهُۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Truly, we did call unto Him from of old: truly it is He, the Beneficent, the Merciful

52:30 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرࣱ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيۡبَ ٱلۡمَنُونِ

Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time

52:31 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
قُلۡ تَرَبَّصُواْ فَإِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُتَرَبِّصِينَ

Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you

52:33 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥۚ بَل لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith

52:35 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
أَمۡ خُلِقُواْ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ شَيۡءٍ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقُونَ

Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators

52:40 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرࣰ ا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمࣲ مُّثۡقَلُونَ

Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt

52:44 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كِسۡفࣰ ا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطࣰ ا يَقُولُواْ سَحَابࣱ مَّرۡكُومࣱ‏

Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps

52:47 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ عَذَابࣰ ا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not

52:49 الطُّوْرِ At-Tur
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَإِدۡبَٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ

And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars

53:14 النَّجْمِ An-Najm
عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass

لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ

For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest
