19:82 مَرْيَمَ Maryam
كَلَّاۚ سَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمۡ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضِدًّا

Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them

19:83 مَرْيَمَ Maryam
أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمۡ أَزࣰّ ا

Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury

19:84 مَرْيَمَ Maryam
فَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمۡ عَدࣰّ ا

So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days)

لَّقَدۡ أَحۡصَىٰهُمۡ وَعَدَّهُمۡ عَدࣰّ ا

He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly

وَكُلُّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَرۡدًا

And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment

19:96 مَرْيَمَ Maryam
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجۡعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وُدࣰّ ا

On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love

19:98 مَرْيَمَ Maryam
وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا

But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them

20:6 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحۡتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ

To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil

20:47 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
فَأۡتِيَاهُ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرۡسِلۡ مَعَنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبۡهُمۡۖ قَدۡ جِئۡنَٰكَ بِـَٔايَةࣲ مِّن رَّبِّكَۖ وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ

So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance

20:61 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَيۡلَكُمۡ لَا تَفۡتَرُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبࣰ ا فَيُسۡحِتَكُم بِعَذَابࣲۖ وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ

Moses said to him: Woe to you! Forge not ye a lie against Allah, lest He destroy you (at once) utterly by chastisement: the forger must suffer frustration

20:62 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
فَتَنَٰزَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَهُم بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ

So they disputed, one with another, over their affair, but they kept their talk secret

20:63 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَٰنِ لَسَٰحِرَٰنِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخۡرِجَاكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُم بِسِحۡرِهِمَا وَيَذۡهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ ٱلۡمُثۡلَىٰ

They said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions

20:66 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالَ بَلۡ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمۡ وَعِصِيُّهُمۡ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيۡهِ مِن سِحۡرِهِمۡ أَنَّهَا تَسۡعَىٰ

He said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion

20:75 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
وَمَن يَأۡتِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنࣰ ا قَدۡ عَمِلَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلدَّرَجَٰتُ ٱلۡعُلَىٰ

But such as come to Him as Believers who have worked righteous deeds,- for them are ranks exalted

20:77 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
وَلَقَدۡ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِي فَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُمۡ طَرِيقࣰ ا فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ يَبَسࣰ ا لَّا تَخَٰفُ دَرَكࣰ ا وَلَا تَخۡشَىٰ

We sent an inspiration to Moses: "Travel by night with My servants, and strike a dry path for them through the sea, without fear of being overtaken (by Pharaoh) and without (any other) fear

20:78 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمۡ

Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up

20:84 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالَ هُمۡ أُوْلَآءِ عَلَىٰٓ أَثَرِي وَعَجِلۡتُ إِلَيۡكَ رَبِّ لِتَرۡضَىٰ

He replied: "Behold, they are close on my footsteps: I hastened to thee, O my Lord, to please thee

20:85 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدۡ فَتَنَّا قَوۡمَكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ ٱلسَّامِرِيُّ

(Allah) said: "We have tested thy people in thy absence: the Samiri has led them astray

20:88 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
فَأَخۡرَجَ لَهُمۡ عِجۡلࣰ ا جَسَدࣰ ا لَّهُۥ خُوَارࣱ فَقَالُواْ هَٰذَآ إِلَٰهُكُمۡ وَإِلَٰهُ مُوسَىٰ فَنَسِيَ

Then he brought out (of the fire) before the (people) the image of a calf: It seemed to low: so they said: This is your god, and the god of Moses, but (Moses) has forgotten

20:89 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
أَفَلَا يَرَوۡنَ أَلَّا يَرۡجِعُ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَوۡلࣰ ا وَلَا يَمۡلِكُ لَهُمۡ ضَرࣰّ ا وَلَا نَفۡعࣰ ا

Could they not see that it could not return them a word (for answer), and that it had no power either to harm them or to do them good

20:90 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
وَلَقَدۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ هَٰرُونُ مِن قَبۡلُ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُم بِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ فَٱتَّبِعُونِي وَأَطِيعُوٓاْ أَمۡرِي

Aaron had already, before this said to them: "O my people! ye are being tested in this: for verily your Lord is (Allah) Most Gracious; so follow me and obey my command

20:92 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
قَالَ يَٰهَٰرُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذۡ رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ ضَلُّوٓاْ

(Moses) said: "O Aaron! what kept thee back, when thou sawest them going wrong

Open ayah In surah context Juz 16
20:101 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهِۖ وَسَآءَ لَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ حِمۡلࣰ ا

They will abide in this (state): and grievous will the burden be to them on that Day

20:103 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
يَتَخَٰفَتُونَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا عَشۡرࣰ ا

In whispers will they consult each other: "Yet tarried not longer than ten (Days)

20:104 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذۡ يَقُولُ أَمۡثَلُهُمۡ طَرِيقَةً إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا يَوۡمࣰ ا

We know best what they will say, when their leader most eminent in conduct will say: "Ye tarried not longer than a day

20:108 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥۖ وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلۡأَصۡوَاتُ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ فَلَا تَسۡمَعُ إِلَّا هَمۡسࣰ ا

On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 16
20:110 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمࣰ ا

He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them: but they shall not compass it with their knowledge

20:113 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِيࣰّ ا وَصَرَّفۡنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلۡوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ أَوۡ يُحۡدِثُ لَهُمۡ ذِكۡرࣰ ا

Thus have We sent this down - an arabic Qur'an - and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may fear Allah, or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 16
20:121 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
فَأَكَلَا مِنۡهَا فَبَدَتۡ لَهُمَا سَوۡءَٰتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخۡصِفَانِ عَلَيۡهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۚ وَعَصَىٰٓ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُۥ فَغَوَىٰ

In the result, they both ate of the tree, and so their nakedness appeared to them: they began to sew together, for their covering, leaves from the Garden: thus did Adam disobey his Lord, and allow himself to be seduced

20:128 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
أَفَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتࣲ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلنُّهَىٰ

Is it not a warning to such men (to call to mind) how many generations before them We destroyed, in whose haunts they (now) move? Verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding

20:131 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجࣰ ا مِّنۡهُمۡ زَهۡرَةَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا لِنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ فِيهِۚ وَرِزۡقُ رَبِّكَ خَيۡرࣱ وَأَبۡقَىٰ

Nor strain thine eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to parties of them, the splendour of the life of this world, through which We test them: but the provision of thy Lord is better and more enduring

20:133 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَا يَأۡتِينَا بِـَٔايَةࣲ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓۚ أَوَلَمۡ تَأۡتِهِم بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

They say: "Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?" Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation

20:134 طٰهٰ Taa-Haa
وَلَوۡ أَنَّآ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِعَذَابࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لَوۡلَآ أَرۡسَلۡتَ إِلَيۡنَا رَسُولࣰ ا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَٰتِكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخۡزَىٰ

And if We had inflicted on them a penalty before this, they would have said: "Our Lord! If only Thou hadst sent us a messenger, we should certainly have followed Thy Signs before we were humbled and put to shame

Open ayah In surah context Juz 16
21:1 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
ٱقۡتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ فِي غَفۡلَةࣲ مُّعۡرِضُونَ

Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away

21:2 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
مَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن ذِكۡرࣲ مِّن رَّبِّهِم مُّحۡدَثٍ إِلَّا ٱسۡتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ

Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they listen to it as in jest

21:3 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
لَاهِيَةࣰ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّجۡوَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ هَلۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡۖ أَفَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلسِّحۡرَ وَأَنتُمۡ تُبۡصِرُونَ

Their hearts toying as with trifles. The wrong-doers conceal their private counsels, (saying), "Is this (one) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft with your eyes open

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
21:6 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
مَآ ءَامَنَتۡ قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآۖ أَفَهُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

(As to those) before them, not one of the populations which We destroyed believed: will these believe

21:7 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا قَبۡلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالࣰ ا نُّوحِيٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡۖ فَسۡـَٔلُوٓاْ أَهۡلَ ٱلذِّكۡرِ إِن كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

Before thee, also, the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message

21:8 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
وَمَا جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ جَسَدࣰ ا لَّا يَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُواْ خَٰلِدِينَ

Nor did We give them bodies that ate no food, nor were they exempt from death

21:9 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
ثُمَّ صَدَقۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡوَعۡدَ فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُمۡ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ وَأَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

In the end We fulfilled to them Our Promise, and We saved them and those whom We pleased, but We destroyed those who transgressed beyond bounds

21:12 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
فَلَمَّآ أَحَسُّواْ بَأۡسَنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنۡهَا يَرۡكُضُونَ

Yet, when they felt Our Punishment (coming), behold, they (tried to) flee from it

21:15 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
فَمَا زَالَت تِّلۡكَ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ

And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is mown, as ashes silent and quenched

21:16 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ

Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between

21:21 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ ءَالِهَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هُمۡ يُنشِرُونَ

Or have they taken (for worship) gods from the earth who can raise (the dead)

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
21:22 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
لَوۡ كَانَ فِيهِمَآ ءَالِهَةٌ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَاۚ فَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides Allah, there would have been confusion in both! but glory to Allah, the Lord of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
21:23 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
لَا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَمَّا يَفۡعَلُ وَهُمۡ يُسۡـَٔلُونَ

He cannot be questioned for His acts, but they will be questioned (for theirs)

21:24 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةࣰۖ قُلۡ هَاتُواْ بُرۡهَٰنَكُمۡۖ هَٰذَا ذِكۡرُ مَن مَّعِيَ وَذِكۡرُ مَن قَبۡلِيۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ فَهُم مُّعۡرِضُونَ

Or have they taken for worship (other) gods besides him? Say, "Bring your convincing proof: this is the Message of those with me and the Message of those before me." But most of them know not the Truth, and so turn away

Open ayah In surah context Juz 17
21:27 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
لَا يَسۡبِقُونَهُۥ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ وَهُم بِأَمۡرِهِۦ يَعۡمَلُونَ

They speak not before He speaks, and they act (in all things) by His Command

21:28 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَلَا يَشۡفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ٱرۡتَضَىٰ وَهُم مِّنۡ خَشۡيَتِهِۦ مُشۡفِقُونَ

He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they offer no intercession except for those who are acceptable, and they stand in awe and reverence of His (Glory)

21:29 الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ Al-Anbiyaa
۞وَمَن يَقُلۡ مِنۡهُمۡ إِنِّيٓ إِلَٰهࣱ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

If any of them should say, "I am a god besides Him", such a one We should reward with Hell: thus do We reward those who do wrong
