‏{‏قُلْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَكَائِكُمْ مَنْ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ‏}‏ ببيانه وإرشاده، أو بإلهامه وتوفيقه‏.‏ ‏{‏قُلِ اللَّهُ‏}‏ وحده ‏{‏يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ‏}‏ بالأدلة والبراهين، وبالإلهام والتوفيق، والإعانة إلى سلوك أقوم طريق‏.‏ ‏{‏أَمَّنْ لَا يَهِدِّي‏}‏ أي‏:‏ لا يهتدي ‏{‏إِلَّا أَنْ يُهْدَى‏}‏ لعدم علمه، ولضلاله، وهي شركاؤهم، التي لا تهدي ولا تهتدي إلا أن تهدى ‏{‏فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ‏}‏ أي‏:‏ أيّ شيء جعلكم تحكمون هذا الحكم الباطل، بصحة عبادة أحد مع الله، بعد ظهور الحجة والبرهان، أنه لا يستحق العبادة إلا الله وحده‏.

"قل هل من شركائكم من يهدي إلى الحق قل الله يهدي للحق" أي أنتم تعلمون أن شركاءكم لا تقدر على هداية ضال وإنما يهدي الحيارى والضلال ويقلب القلوب من الغي إلى الرشد الله الذي لا إله إلا هو "أفمن يهدي إلى الحق أحق أن يتبع أمن لا يهدي إلا أن يهدى" أي أفيتبع العبد الذي يهدي إلى الحق ويبصر بعد العمى أم الذي لا يهدي إلى شيء إلا أن يهدى لعماه وبكمه كما قال تعالى إخبارا عن إبراهيم أنه قال "يا أبت لم تعبد ما لا يسمع ولا يبصر ولا يغني عنك شيئا" وقال لقومه "أتعبدون ما تنحتون والله خلقكم وما تعملون" إلى غير ذلك من الآيات وقوله "فما لكم كيف تحكمون" أي ما بالكم أن يذهب بعقولكم كيف سويتم بين الله وبين خلقه وعدلتم هذا بهذا وعبدتم هذا وهذا؟ وهلا أفردتم الرب جل جلاله المالك الحاكم الهادي من الضلالة بالعبادة وحده وأخلصتم إليه الدعوة والإنابة؟.

This invalidates and falsifies their claims for committing Shirk withAllah and worshipping different idols and rivals

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُمْ مَّن يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ

(Say: "Is there of your partners one that originates the creation and then repeats it") meaning, who is the one who started the creation of these heavens and earth and created all the creatures in them Who can place the planets and the stars in their positions Who can then repeat the process of the creation

قُلِ اللَّهُ

(Say: "Allah") It is He Who does this. He does it by Himself, alone without partners.

فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ

("Then how are you deluded away (from the truth)") How is it that you are so misled from the right path to falsehood

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُمْ مَّن يَهْدِى إِلَى الْحَقِّ قُلِ اللَّهُ يَهْدِى لِلْحَقِّ

(Say: "Is there of your partners one that guides to the truth" Say: " It is Allah who guides to the truth. .".) You know that your deities are incapable of guiding those who are astray. It is Allah alone Who guides the misled and confused ones and turns the hearts from the wrong path to the right path. It is Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but He.

أَفَمَن يَهْدِى إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لاَّ يَهِدِّى إِلاَّ أَن يُهْدَى

(Is then He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided) Will the servant then follow the one who guides to the truth so that he may see after he was blind, or follow one who doesn't guide to anything except towards blindness and muteness Allah said that Ibrahim said:

يأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لاَ يَسْمَعُ وَلاَ يَبْصِرُ وَلاَ يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْئاً

(O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything) 19:42 And said to his people

قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ - وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

(Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve While Allah has created you and what you make!) 37: 95-96 Also, there are many Ayat in this regard. Allah then said:

فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ

(Then, what is the matter with you How judge you) What is the matter with you What has happened to your mind How did you make Allah's creatures equal to Him What kind of judgement did you make to turn away from Allah and worship this or that Why did you not worship the Lord -- Glorified be He, the True King, the Judge and the One Who guides to the truth Why didn't you call upon Him alone and turn towards Him Allah then explained that they did not follow their own religion out of evidence and proof. The fact is that they were following mere conjecture and imagination. But conjecture is in no way a substitute for the truth. At the end of this Ayah. He said,

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ

(Allah is All-Aware of what they do.) This is both a threat and a promise of severe punishment. Allah said that He would reward them for their actions with a complete reward.

Say ‘Is there of those whom you associate with God one that guides to the truth?’ by means of setting up definitive arguments and creating guidance. Say ‘God guides to the truth; is One Who guides to the truth — and this is God — more deserving of being followed or one who does not guide one who is not himself guided unless he is guided? more deserving of being followed? the interrogative is meant as an affirmation and a rebuke in other words the former is more deserving. So what is wrong with you how do you judge?’ how do you make this corrupt judgement one where what does not deserve to be followed is followed?

In the concluding verse (32), it was said: فَذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّـهُ رَ‌بُّكُمُ الْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَاذَا بَعْدَ الْحَقِّ إِلَّا الضَّلَالُ (So, that is Allah, your Lord in truth. And what is there, after truth, but error?), that is, ` this is the Sacred Being whose attributes of perfection have just been mentioned. Once you have found the Truth, there remains nothing else to find except error and straying. In other words, once it stands proved that Allah Ta` ala is the only true and rightful object of worship, it is terribly senseless to abandon this truth and allow yourself to be diverted elsewhere.

In relation to issues of religious beliefs embedded in this verse, it must be borne in mind that the statement: مَاذَا بَعْدَ الْحَقِّ إِلَّا الضَّلَالُ (What is there, after truth, but error?) proves that there is no intermediary link between truth and error. What is not the truth will be included in error and straying. There can be no such thing that is neither truth nor error. And it is also not possible that two opposite things could be the truth. This is an established rule in the sight of the majority of scholars in the Muslim Ummah. However, difference exists among ` Ulama' regarding minor and subsidiary juristic issues. In the view of some of them, both sides would be considered as on truth in Ijtihad-based issues and, according to the majority of them, there is consensus on the view that the taking of contra-position in Ijtihad-based problems cannot be termed as error and straying.

Say: Is there any of those whom you associate who guides to the Real? Real is one of the names of the Lord. The commentary is that in truth He is God; He is worthy of Godhood, and His measure is in place. What was, is, and will be must go, but He subsists. He is found in the hearts of the friends and known to the spirits of the recognizers. He does not accept alteration or change of state, and He is everlasting in worthiness for Godhood. The name Real often comes forth from the tongue of the Folk of the Tariqah. This is because upon witnessing the acts, this group began to witness the attributes, and then, upon witnessing the attributes, they fell to witnessing the Essence. First they gazed on the artisanry, then they passed beyond the artisanry and gazed on the attributes, then again they passed from gazing on the attri- butes to gazing on the Essence. About gazing on the artisanry He says, " Have they not gazed upon the dominion of the heav- ens and the earth? " [7:185]. About gazing on the attributes He says, " Thou art not upon any task, neither dost thou recite any of the Qur'an, nor do you do any deed, unless We are witnesses over you when you go forth into it " [10:61]. About gazing on the Essence He says, " Say 'God,' then leave them " [6:91]. About gazing on the acts MuṣṬafā said, " I seek refuge in Thy pardon from Thy punishment. " About gazing on the attributes he said, " I seek refuge in Thy approval from Thy anger. " About gazing on the Essence he said, " I seek refuge in Thee from Thee. " Then he passed beyond his own seeing and became disengaged from his own attributes, and he spoke from the station of annihila- tion: " I do not number Thy laudations. " Again, he stepped higher to the station of subsistence and gave a mark of the reality of solitariness. He said, " Thou art as Thou hast lauded Thyself. " First is the station of inference, second the station of poverty, third the station of contempla- tion, fourth the station of life, and fifth the station of subsistence. The Pir of the Tariqah alluded to the intimations of these meaning when he said, " O resurrec- tion of the marks bearing witness and destruction of the traces! The recognizer is alive through his own nonbeing. O Splendorous and Self-Standing, everyone hopes for vision, and I am lost in vision. When the flood reaches the ocean, what then is known of the flood? The world is full of day, and the poor blind man is deprived. " The antagonists say, " These are not suitable words. " The sun does not sin if someone is blind.
